Sampling machinery： 取樣中、製造中

Black Francis 寫歌詞完全說不上友善，沒頭沒尾的，而且內在的意涵往往跟曲調扯不上什麼聯繫。不認識或著至少不嘗試去認識他的話，可能永遠也搞不清楚他到底在唱什麼。

這跟 Bob Dylan 的隱晦是不同的：在 Bob Dylan 那裡，你所需要的也許是了解他所在的世界以聽懂歌中的意思；在他方，四下所正在發生的一切。但是，你不需要試著去了解 他 。

不論如何，我還蠻喜歡這樣的歌。應該說，配上他們的曲調、曲風 (還有長度...) ，這樣的歌令我喜愛。倒不是因為這樣很帥氣很自我云云 (如果這是刻意的，只會讓我覺得很噁心)，而是我可以在裡面遐想，在裡面搭配上我能掌握的畫面，安上我所能碰觸的意義，衍生我對它或他或他們的認識。

這個版本的 youtube 左邊側標的解說，讓我對歌詞有一種恍然大悟的感覺。
緊接著，我小小聲的 "切" 了一聲：
我所有的緋想，從此煙消雲散。

不過，回頭看看，這整段過程，都有趣的很。

順帶一提，我超喜歡這首歌的 solo；喜歡在於它爆出來的那一剎那。
我曾經這樣認為：歌詞也好，其他所有的東西也好，只不過是為了烘托那一微秒的背景罷了。
