英國國旗大揭祕(外加圖解)
英國米字旗現今大量運用在設計上，常常在衣服、飾品、車子外觀上看到它，儼然成為時髦象徵之一，不談強權經濟和文化霸權在後推波助瀾，你了解英國國旗為什麼是米字型？紅藍相間又代表什麼意思？ (廣告：駐英國代表處經濟組徵才)
答案其實很平凡，英國國旗又叫做聯邦國旗(Union Flag)，事實上是由三面旗幟組合而成，一為英格蘭旗，一為蘇格蘭旗，另一面則為愛爾蘭神聖守護旗。三面旗幟重疊在一起成為英國聯合王國(United Kingdom)的國旗。
蘇格蘭旗又稱聖安德魯旗(the St. Andrews flag)
英格蘭旗又稱聖喬治旗(the St.Georges flag)
愛爾蘭神聖守護旗(the Patron Saint of Ireland) 又稱為聖派屈克旗(the flag of St. Patrick)
感覺有點像在玩「圈圈叉叉」......而且設計的很懶散......
運用奧秘的幼稚園公式「1+1+1=3」則成為英國國旗
你會發現威爾斯的旗幟怎麼未列在英國國旗內，原因不是怕這隻龍成為主角擋到其他旗幟，還是避免太難畫會累死臨摹的兒童，其實答案是威爾斯並不是一個王國(kingdom)，所以沒有加入英國聯合王國國旗裏。
我想英國國旗的Image比起以上的答案酷多了！

I did not know the whole story fo the British flag. Indeed, it's a combination of English,Irish and Scot.
