This conference is a great occasion to make internaional scholars understand our motherland, Taiwan. Particularly, there are two professors coming from Hong Kong and Beijing. Before submitting the abstract of your paper, had better ask Bristol Uni. about some details. For example, I emailed to Emma Holland to see if my paper applied to the conference last Thursday. Then I was told that my topic did not fix the occasion next day. For those who are doing research relating to Taiwan, please do grab this opportunity.

you should write to Prof Ka Ho Mok (KH.Mok@bristol.ac.uk) rather than Emma Holland(Emma.Holland@brsitol.ac.uk)to enquire about your topic because Emma is just administrator of the centre. I email professor Mok and he said as long as your topic address the implication of social development then you can submit your abstract. So why not give a try?

Thanks for the reminder.
I emailed to Prof. Mok yesterday as suggested. Although my topic does not involve in any implication of social development, I still keep hope in mind. Finger crossed!
