有一些歌手發片只要看到名字，我就不會猶豫買下專輯，前幾天逛Costco，就驚喜地發現一個我也不曾遲疑的歌手剛發了新專輯，他是Jack Johnson。他的音樂在我心目中的形象還是停留在有一年的海洋音樂祭，我坐在海灘上，大舞台播著他的歌，北海岸豔陽和他的音樂一樣熱烈！

我記得那天一踏上海灘就遇到巴奈，她綁了一頭非常漂亮的小辮子，開心地打招呼。後來一場短暫的午後雷陣雨，角頭的歌手、樂手們躲到大舞台底下，有人拿了兩手啤酒，大家只打著手鼓節奏就唱起部落歌謠，直到雨停下來。那是一個夏天的海洋印記，後來我甚至覺得夏天就是一定要到海邊一趟，這個夏天才算得上完整。

近些天，洛杉磯相當晴暖，今天出門去圖書館已經換上短褲短袖了與夾腳脫鞋，我在圖書館又是心不在焉地讀書，聽著剛買到Jack Johnson專輯，心想真是非常適合迎接夏天的專輯。雖然我必須承認Jack Johnson的作品風格變化不大，這張也是，我的朋友Marco甚至曾開玩笑說他跟根本分不出他幾張專輯的差異，然而，我們還是喜歡、還是聽Jack Johnson。他那種輕快的民謠節奏，令人充滿驚喜的旋律，特別是像我這樣喜歡吉他聲音的音樂迷，很容易被這種以吉他編曲為主的作品吸引，也不曾感到厭膩。

順道一題，昨天晚上在MSN上遇見某任情人，因為他也是Jack Johnson迷，我開心地跟他聊這張新專輯，他也跟我說他今天去逛跳蚤市場，唱片攤的老闆娘說好久不見我，托他要送一張CD給我。我很訝異我記得他也喜歡Jack Johnson，但我更訝異那個老闆娘竟也記得他曾陪我一起去逛她的CD攤！
