這本書是凱文 (跟我同個指導老師但已畢業在Sussex工作的學長) 根據博論改寫，主要是談KCTU，讀者不一定要認同他的分析，但他為了做研究(其實應該是為了老婆)學好韓文以進行田野訪談的用心值得肯定。

第二位編輯就是我念碩士班時常混在一起的姐妹淘安妮貝爾，她的頭銜竟然不是某某博士，而是印度工會工作人員！會現這本新書是因為老師接了Routledge再思全球化系列(目前共有二十四本書)的資深編輯，其中一本就是安妮貝爾編的書，世界真小。
