精靈之屋

周五在系上遇到凱文，以下對話：

凱文, 'You must feel very excited about the trip.'
我, 'NOOOOOO'
凱文,'Why?'
我: 'I am afraid of flying…I hate airplane.'
凱文, '………..ME TOO!'

接下來他比我還激動，說上次去美國開研討會時，在曼徹斯特機場候機時，他一度考慮轉身離開 (這好像比我還嚴重)。

凱文, 'You are the first person I met has the same problem with me !!!'

老兄拜託，這可不是多值得高興的事。況且我會演變成懼機症還不是被另一個英國人害的！去年從巴黎飛法航回來曼城，小飛機不太穩定，有時候墜一下，鄰座的Ian老早嚇的臉色發白--喔他的臉本來就白，發青，看他這樣我也怕了起來。從此，對於搭機就有「無限幻想」。

我好怕喲‥‥‥

但射手座的天性又讓我無法拒絕可以到處跑的機會，五月要飛西亞和南歐，約莫三個禮拜前就開始緊張，在網路上查飛安資訊。看到這個神奇的網站，介紹各家航空公司和機型的失事紀錄，原來華航紀錄真的挺不好，想來我在華航工會的「勸說」下都搭他們家的飛機去亞洲去歐洲，迄今也沒什麼不好的經驗，因此搭其他家應該更沒問題。(瞧，又在安慰自己了)

真是無限懷念從前無憂無懼的日子。那時一年跑四次國外會議，一個月搭一次國內線，辦公室又在台塑大樓，走幾分鐘就到松山機場，一個小時候就現身小港機場。哪來這麼多緊張憂慮。

唉，往事只能回味，迄今坐在電腦前還算穩定，周二到機場大概又要臉色發白了。
