Dinant 薩克斯風

根據工研院的資料,后里是全球薩克斯風主要產地,約佔全世界產量的三分之一。工研院和經濟部為了輔導后里薩克斯風產業升級,在2005年創立了「Saxhome」台灣薩克斯風共同品牌。

Saxhome?那不是在比利時Dinant嗎?當我看到一篇有關后里薩克斯風產業報導時,浮現的第一個念頭。

Dinant不僅是比利時熱門的旅遊景點,也是19世紀發明薩克斯風saxophone的Adolphe Sax的出生地,但他在巴黎創造出saxophone,死後安息於巴黎蒙馬特。

Dinant沿著Meuse河谷(到了荷語國境是Maas河)伸展,兩岸房屋倚山傍水。人類聚落倚靠的山不是碧綠的,而是深灰藍色的陡峭岩石、是時間沈澱濃縮的板岩和石灰岩。Meuse河鑿穿石灰岩層的山谷,在這一帶醞釀許多嘆為觀止的石灰岩洞。

1994年,Sax先生逝世百年,Dinant舉辦第一屆「Adolphe Sax薩克斯風國際比賽」,以後每四年舉辦一次,參賽者來自全球各地,台灣好手也來角逐。翻看過去幾年的得獎紀錄,前六名,除了歐洲人,少不了日本選手,由此窺見日本發達的薩克斯風音樂產業和Dinant的文化關係。

Dinant地名源於dinanderie,12世紀這裡是製造黃銅器具的地方。後來,冥冥之中注定嗎?Sax先生於1841年發明了結合銅管和木管樂器特色的saxphone。薩克斯風演變為主流樂器,還化身為Dinant的象徵。

在狹長的Dinant市中心,便樹立著薩克斯風樂器雕像和Sax先生雕像。歐元取代比利時錢幣frank法郎之前,兩百元比利時法郎鈔票,就是用Sax先生和他發明的薩克斯風做為圖案。

Dinant在薩克斯風音樂和樂器歷史佔有如此重要的地位, Saxhome后里和Dinant日後會搭起友誼橋樑嗎?


關於Dinant: 

Dinant位於比利時首都布魯塞爾東南方90公里處。地勢綿延起伏山岩環繞,和印象中平坦的比利時國土景觀相去甚遠。由於地勢起伏、河流蜿蜒,是攀岩和泛舟者的最愛。Meuse河(到了荷語國境是Maas河)穿越Dinant市中心,房屋沿著河谷排列,躺在後方山岩的懷裡。Dinant吸引很多國際遊客,例如日本觀光客,市中心到處矗立的旅遊指標使用四種語文,日文便是其中之一。

Dear Ingrid,
Dinant is really nice city. I have been there many time, and i still love it. 2 weeks ago, I went there with my Italian friend twice times in 4 days.....hehe. He likes beer and i like the view there.
Normally we will go there again on Nov and stay there for 2 nights. Rudy like to go there with his lover Motorbike, and climbing with friends.
It was a bit pity that we cant meet you on last friday, and hope to see you very soon.

Wowww, you are facinated by Dinant ^_* Indeed Dinant is pretty and its neighborhood is very attractive. Wish you have a nice holiday in November!

Everything was arranged and at last moment, when I was on train, opened my bag to confirm the ticket. Surprisingly, my train ticket was not there.... ~>_
