I had the most terrible two days in my life in Lake Titicaca. No one tell me the homestay in the island is on the hill, hell for me. That is to say I stay at height 4300meter. I vomited anything I eat and got a high temperature. In the night, I began to shake uncontrolled. It take three hours boat to Puno and a hour road to the near city where is a hospital. Everyone knows that the altitute sick is fetal, but nobody cares here. I took the bill to lose the blood pressure and survive for two days without food.
I felt so lucky to come to Cusco in 8/2 and stayed with hippys(spelling?) who smoked (not cigarrate) and stayed around the fire at night. The next day, we went to Pisac sunday market together. At last, a perurian law unversity stuend went out with me to those Inca ruins. He is such a nice person and translate a lot for me. We had a great day, except climbing three mountain. At last, I fell down from the bus stair. I am fine, my camera backbag saved me. But I found that the botton of my shop is flated totally after one month walking. It is a goretex trekking boot!
8/4 I tried to change the hotel and catched the am6:00 train to Machu Picchu. And I cannot find my passport in such early morning. I ran from these two hotels and woke up all the reciept. At last, I got the passport, they were locked in my biger backbag. Then I met a creay London boy on the train. He thinks ¨poor perurian¨ all the time. After an hour terrible talking, I cannot stand anymore. So he began to argu with the service in the train. The poorer Señora talked to him, his guide will pick him up directly in front of the door of our coach. But it didn´t work. I met a lot of terrible person in Aguas Calientes, where is the stop for Machu Picchu. Machu Picchu is a treasure itself. So you see from the movie that every bad guy rush and do any bad thing to get the treasure. Right, It is just like that. Everyone tried to cut the line. People ran to pass you for the two hundren tickets to Wayni Picchu to have a better view for Machu picchu. The only thing not like the action movie is the justice never comes. That is why we need the actoin movie. After the Machu Picchu, I went to Ollantaytambo for sightseeing. Than I found I have nothing to back to Cusco. The taxi driver asked for 70 sol which cost more than one night in hotel. I waited in a colletive bus for two hours to back cusco. There is a small town. Everyone joined the travel group. I cannot sure whether the collective is reliable. How terrible! Last night, I tried to vomit but nothing came out. I went to bad at 9pm and cannot do anying. The strong headace killed, not the altitute this time, but seriously tired. I will stay in hotle in Cusco for two days and take a bus 8/8 to Nazco. I will try to find travel agency to arrange the trip. Travel in Peru is not that pleased to be honest.
