Vancouver encountered---Semin
And then, we almost went to school together everyday. She is from Turkey, very smart, cute, enthusiastic, likes laughing. She has already told me many times "Peggy, I dont want to go to school!" in her first week of ESL. We had good company together. We taught, cheer up, each other. Since I came back to Taipei, I keep missing her a lot. I still remember we went to Harbour center, and had dinner in Spaghetti Factory. A raining day, we took bus "Cambin 15" to downtown, and got off the bus, walked to school. She sang a song "Singing in the rain". I like this song very much. And if I hear this song, I recall Semin.
She invented a phase"Ghost noodle", that is green bean noodle(冬粉). One of my favorite food. One day I cooked fried bean noodle (Taiwanese food炒冬粉). I let Semin try it. First taste, obviously she does not like it, she said "It tastes like a PLASTIC!". And named the bean noodle a cute name--GHOST NOODLE. Because of the noodle is crystalloid!
She is soooo cute, eh?
In addition, she taught me a bit Turkish. "Na o be i!" means "how are you?". "Ymmmm" means "Good!". And I taught her how do I say "Good" in Chinese.
And I like looking her cute face while she is saying "Hauo!"
I had extremely happy time! I have to say thank you to you-- Semin. Without you, I couldn't have a lot of great time in Vancouver. I like the time we share everything together. We tried to eat good crepe near dorm. We also encountered some unbelievable events, and I won't forget about that. Thank you very much! I will see you again!
