比利不雷格有一首曲子《由紅轉藍》，中間的一段歌詞是這樣的：有時候我會問我自己，我到底應該為我的階級投紅色一票？還是為我們的小孩投綠色一票？但無論我怎麼選擇，我都不會背叛。這段話，正是現在頁首所引用的那段話。

從還沒有結婚之前，我就一直很喜歡這首歌，我曾想，或者有一天，我當了別人的老爸，會不會也變得保守？會不會變得不紅，變得不綠，反而變成藍的？我一直不希望這事會發生。最近在網路上看見一個年輕時極敬重的前輩的變化，感覺挺傷感，特別點播來弔祭一下。是的，那些你已經放棄的事，我還當成真理緊握著，我猜，你握得沒有我緊啊。喔，對了，這裡的綠，自然不是民進黨，藍，也不會是什麼國親陣營。紅綠是什麼我不想多解釋了，藍，在英國是指〔TORY〕保皇黨／保守黨。
