這是一部BBC的影集。

故事是說一個現代的警官出了車禍後，醒來發現自己在一九七三年。他在想，他是瘋了，是在昏迷，還是回到過去，他在想，如果想通了，他應該就可以回到〔現在〕。

於是，你看到一個二十一世紀的警察，放置在一個不求證據但有刑求，不重視救人質但重視破案，擺明了種族歧視，擺明了性別歧視，擺明了警察與黑道有一定合作關係的，一九七三年的曼撤斯特。

這根本是像活在火星一樣。

其中一集的故事是這樣，一個女孩在幾年前被殺了，警方粗魯地用刑求，用一紙自白書，捉了她的男友下獄。幾年後，發生了一件綁架案，歹徒的訴求是將這個入獄的男孩放了。最後，綁架案破了，綁匪是這過世了的女孩的父親，他綁的是真兇的妻女。他因生氣而犯案，他生氣警方不重視他兒女的死，用不負責的方式，胡亂捉人黑牢，而讓真兇逍遙法外，這樣的破案，一點也不是他要的破案。

我跟來玩的bodu說，這好看啦，他住的火星，其實跟台灣也差不多，我們到今年還在判蘇建和死刑啊。

這整個兩季的故事，包括結局，都說得挺好，配樂也選得都很點題，還出了原聲帶。
