陳芯宜，是台灣優秀的年輕創作者。台北人，1974年出生，輔仁大學大眾傳播學系廣告組畢業。大學時期便開始短片的拍攝，心力多投注在人文及弱勢議題上，並開始著手有關遊民的田野調查。畢業後任職於黃明川電影社，參與紀錄片及短片之拍攝及配樂工作，並擔任黃明川導演的劇情長片《破輪胎》的助導場記、美術及後製相關作業。

1999年，芯宜以個人首部劇情片作品《我叫阿銘啦》受到矚目，拿下當年度台灣許多獨立電影大獎，並入選於世界各國影展放映。目前為自由影相工作者，持續拍攝公視等關注大台北地區歷史人文的紀錄片，以及支援其他獨立製片的拍攝工作。

電影配樂是芯宜的多項長才之一，四歲起就學習音樂的她曾為多部舞台劇及短片製作配樂，包括所有她自己的影像作品。這一次芯宜透過她的音樂，為視覺風格冷硬灰暗的《海巡尖兵》，增添更多的人文關懷，緩緩流露陽剛男性角色內心深處的溫柔悲憫。

Composer
Singing Chen

Singing Chen is one of the few multi-talented filmmakers in Taiwan. She is a writer / director / editor / composer. Born in 1974, Taipei, Taiwan, she started making short films in college, focusing mostly on social issues. After graduation, she started working for Huang Ming-Chuan Film Productions. There, she made documentaries, shorts, and was also the composer for most of Huang Ming-Chuan’s films.

In 1999, Singing made her feature film debut, “Bundled” which was critically acclaimed and went on to win various awards in many international film festivals. Singing is continually working both in documentaries and narratives. With extensive musical background, Singing also composes music for theater and film. She is now in pre-production on her first feature film “God Man Dog”
