當時我對這一台加長型的M38底盤拉力車並沒有興趣,因為看起來就是長一點的M38,沒什麼新鮮感,而且也覺得笨重。不過我常說,一旦成了絕版車性能就不重要了,所以今天再度看到它還覺得可愛的不得了。基本上是個澡盆結構,加上後面一個超大差速箱(LP),用在M38的漫畫造型很速配,用拉力冠軍的房車殼就不怎摩討喜。不過83年是進入電越野的暴發年代,各種底盤設計推陳出新,這樣的產品銷售週期並不很長,很快的大家的注意力就轉移到更輕巧的青蛙底盤了。不過他的車殼固定設計很別,也沿用到039的Honda
City Turbo,漂亮的胎框也分別給了Lancia Rally和 City Turbo,後來也成了絕響,難找的很。

in Japan was 211,000 yen, $2,100 for NIB, was it's historical
height, closed to NIB SS. new built was very hard to find as no
body would build such a high-cost vintage. Mine was from a friend,
very nice built and kept in dry and dark place for 20 years. With
very reasonalble price I own this car in the Chinese new year,
a pleasant present indeed.
