這首歌從舞台劇改編成的電影The history boys來的。講的是一個冒牌的牛津大學畢業生，應聘到某個高中來當歷史老師，教一群資優高中生準備大學入學考試的故事。英國版的春風化雨，之前我也寫過一篇觀後感了。Bye Bye Blackbird這首歌，是男孩們在他們的胖老師Hector騎摩托車意外去後，在追悼會上唱來送他的。


Hector是個胖子，身上帶著一種矛盾：一方面溫文有學問，另方面又想要叛逆裝酷。他平常教學生文學、戲劇，然後下課後，會挑一個帥氣的男學生，騎摩托車他生回家，順便在十字路口等紅綠燈時，摸他大腿......


學生都知道他這個"嗜好"，雖不是同性戀，卻都用寬容的態度，"反正沒什麼損失嘛"的大方，去滿足他們這個可愛的胖老師。

某天，他正在滿足他的fantacy時，被路過的英國老婦人看到了，老婦人沒有接觸過他，不知道他的可愛，只看到他這樣可憎的一面，所以到學校把他告了。

男孩們唱這樣的歌送他們可愛又可鄙的Hector，應該會給他一種被瞭解的安慰吧。

在英國當知識份子，好像都有一點不被瞭解，甚至不想被瞭解的寂寞吧。不像法國的知識份子這麼的熱熱鬧鬧。

不知道為何，聽這首歌也總讓我感覺到被安慰。
