Watching out the English

我常覺得王安憶是個人X學家，而且是相當成功的那種。從看了他的「記實與虛構」之後，我就非常喜歡他，還曾經在他來台北演講時，特地跑去一睹她的廬山真面目。「長恨歌」名氣很大，但絕說不上是她的小說裡我所喜歡的，總覺得整個佈局固然精巧，但筆鋒卻太冰冷無情了些。「記實與虛構」一直是我心中的第一名，「上種蓮蓬下種藕」也還不錯。王安憶對人的觀察很細緻，筆又很精準，看了很是痛快。

 

七年前到上海時，還不識王安憶。C和E在昆明狂買狂看王安憶時，我是一點也不感到動心。覺得這個女人的筆調太華豔了，字裡行間透著腐臭的氣味，那種不由自主的排斥，就跟那時候下意識的在排斥上海這個紙醉金迷的城市一樣。

 

後來到了上海，那是七年前，看到外灘，看到弄堂，走過租界，兩旁的法國梧桐葉子落了一地，天氣好冷。走過上海音樂學院那一帶時，才知道上海不是只有紙醉金迷，還有一種十里洋場的複雜與精緻，於是，竟脫口說出了類似以後不如就在這裡定居吧這樣的話。

 

好了，說了一堆閒話，其實只是開場白而已。我發現，能不按照結構來寫文章真是一大快事，因此我要在此部落格盡情行使這個權力。其實，我寫這篇部落格是要來講講我所認識的上海女人的。

這是一首哀傷的歌，很美。當初聽到它，是在Ken Loach的電影Ae fond kiss中。我很喜歡這部乾乾淨淨的電影，當初在台灣看的時候就好喜歡。那樣的光線，那樣的牆角，那樣表達愛的方式。去了英國，才知道整個倫敦好多角落都找的到這種調調。其實我還是說不上來具體是什麼東西那麼吸引我，是一種整體，要有那樣的天色，那樣的植物，那樣的建築，跟那樣的人共同組合在一起才會有的調調。容易讓人動情。就好像電影出來後，很多影評都說Ken Loach展現大師風範之處，就是把這種拍到爛的題材--文化衝突下的愛情結合通俗劇--拍的讓人眼睛一樣，清新動人。我想這跟場景選在UK有很大關係，想愛不能愛的痛苦一下就順理成章的的，小小哭一下，該斷的時候清脆的喀擦一聲，在最好的時間點斷開，一點也不拖泥帶水（最會在這種時候大拖特拖拖的剛好就是印度電影）。在宜蘭時，曾試著把這些古英文翻譯成中文，中文一樣很美，但現在這檔案不知道到哪裡去了。

電影是在蘇格蘭拍的，當年影展播出時，片名叫「蘇格蘭之吻」。故事是講一個英國籍在天主教學校教音樂女老師，一天偶然中遇上了學生的哥哥--一個巴基斯坦的DJ，兩人陷入熱戀。但Casim（巴基斯坦DJ)已經奉命與其表妹成婚，依循著巴基斯塔的傳統風俗，同時也是他老爸一生最大的期望。於是，這對戀人就在what I want and what is right thing to do之間掙扎、爭吵、痛苦。所以導演就用這首1791年的蘇格蘭民謠Ae fond Kiss來貫穿全片。這首歌一開頭就唱Ae fond kiss, then we sever...深情一吻，我們就此訣別。 ...繼續閱讀

最近瀕臨發瘋邊緣，每天會半夜突然睜開眼後再也無法入眠，用昏沈去感覺太陽升起，然後沮喪，沮喪難熬的一天又要開始，不知道該怎麼辦。很虛弱的拖著時間過去，每一秒都很緩慢，每一秒都要耗盡很大的力氣過掉。我會攤在椅子上，想事情，然後任眼淚流下...

我看書尋求安慰，先是百年孤寂，後來是watching the English，然後在疲憊之中入睡。接著，我用音樂尋求安慰，先是佛經，再來聽莫札特的魔笛，然後是coldplay，朋友推薦我以下的歌曲：

It's really touching...我覺得被安慰到了。尤其是那句Hello teacher tell me what's my lesson。
