Watching out the English

國際歌，對大部分的台灣人很言，應該是很陌生的一首歌吧
是對岸"共匪"們唱的歌....





我自己也是到大陸做田野時，才有機會聽到。大陸的「正版」CD的跟我們在台灣買到的版本不太一樣，通常是好吃又大碗版。一張專輯大概都會有十七八首歌以上，而且首首精選。有些，還會把不同歌手的歌曲混摻在同一張專輯裡，而「國際歌」就是在這樣的情況下，意外傳進我的耳朵。

那時已讀馬克斯，對於無產階級革命不再有從小受政治教育帶來的莫名恐懼。


乍聽之下很興奮，原來這就是左派青年口耳相傳的國際歌啊。我的同學金武雄的娘就曾對我說起，當年她參加北么「三民主義研究社」，開讀書會讀「馬克思資本論」時，唱的就是這首歌。哇，好樣的。那時後的我，還處於一種躍躍欲試的年輕狀態。彼時正在看《七○年代：理想繼續燃燒》與《七○年代：懺情錄》，翻著一夜夜驚心動魄的改革、理想、思潮，心理老大不願意連現代主義的尾巴都趕不上，抗拒著在群魔亂舞不知所終（所宗）的後現代浪潮中隨波浮沈，心理由衷的想著：真好，年輕就是應該這樣啊。從此，國際歌這三個字，就與某個年代的熱情與理想綑綁在一起，並列在我心裡。

終於聽到了。意外的相當好聽（沒有很沈重耶）。歌曲曲調順耳又振奮人心，聽過幾遍就餘音繞樑，還會一直在耳邊回繞著「因特耐雄耐爾，就一定會實現」這句話。

(也是很後來，才逐漸對於當年那些人在左派、反帝國主義與資本主義、反殖民、台灣民族主義、中國民族主義之間複雜的爭辯，以及彼此結盟或理念根本互斥的各種排列組合的立場，有了一些粗淺的瞭解）

記憶中的版本是慷慨激昂的，是大邁步的進行曲。剛好，我就胡搞錯置的，用來在清晨激勵身處異地難免起伏跌盪的心智.....

今天意外聽到一個民歌版本，前奏開始就不慷慨激昂，輕撥吉他，乾淨的和弦，相當好聽悅耳。仔細聽，歌詞也整個改過，不是那麼義憤填膺的控訴，變得更平易近人更有一點反諷幽默。

弔詭感油然生起。腦中浮現一個留長髮穿寬衣嘻皮反戰民謠歌手，正抱著吉他對群眾呼籲著唱鼓動來場無產階級革命。那句「The Internationale, unites the human race」依然容易聽好記，但另一句「So comrades, come rally,  And the last fight let us face」更讓我百聽不厭。



歌手叫Alistair Hullet，本是英國人，但小時候就舉家遷到澳洲去。可以google他一下，即可找到相關資料。（照片與專輯圖片也都來自官方網站）

（bye the way, 日本人有革過命嗎？突然想到這個問題。目前想到的軍國主義，或是明治維新，都是服從某一種至上的權威與精神之下產生的集體運動，跟我心中的革命還是有一段差距....不過我歷史一向不好就是了，若有人知道請不吝告訴我）
