有不少美國影集像是《急診室的春天》（ER）、《實習醫生》（Grey’s Anatomy）、《家族風雲》（Brothers and Sisters）等，常在片尾時，交叉剪接著不同一群人在同一時刻的心路歷程，有的心碎、有的歡欣、有的唏噓，有的則在頓悟中成長。配合著音樂，串連出不同組人的生活，也看見自己曾閃過的人生想法，對好友、對自己、對感情、對未來的各種感觸。

《Bye Bye》這首歌就有這樣的魔力。

咪咪今年推出的新專輯《蝴蝶效應》（E=MC2），首支單曲《零距離接觸》（Touch My body）立刻躍升為告示牌單曲榜冠軍，成為她個人第十八支冠軍單曲。不過，我最愛的還是她第二首單曲《Bye Bye》，儘管受到她的八卦婚訊影響，這首歌僅打入告示牌第二十名，但仍無損我對此曲的喜愛。

這一年，我身邊的朋友包括我自己，都經歷了人生最無可攔阻的意外變數：一位同事在上班中接到母親的病危通知，她強忍淚水，鎮定地對電話中的家人說不要驚慌，儘管最後的結局仍是無可挽回，那是面對成長的痛；而好友、同學陸續當爸、媽，對我說小女兒的努力學步，驕傲的眼神躍然臉上，那是一路成長的喜悅。但這兩件事卻只相隔了不過數天。

在二○○八年，經歷了無數的失落與打擊，《Bye Bye》撫慰了每一顆善感的心。祝大家新年快樂，不要再「難」過了。
