瑪丹娜（Madonna）《Dress You Up》

這首歌是「娜姊」瑪丹娜（Madonna）第二張專輯《宛如處女》（Like A Virgin）推出的最後一首單曲，因應《Into the Groove》所引發的舞曲點播熱潮，她乘勝追擊再祭出輯內最動聽的舞曲，果然順利登上美國告示牌第五名寶座。不過，特別的是，此曲日本版單曲收錄她最早卻無緣問世的創作《Ain’t No Big Deal》。

小時候剛接觸到娜姊第二張專輯時，《Like A Virgin》是當時大Hit的歌，《Material Girl》MV拍得很可愛，《Angel》也很悅耳，但論起最得我歡心的則非《Dress You Up》莫屬。該曲重節拍的跳舞節奏，很難不令人隨之起舞。

不過，這首歌卻被當時全美教師家長聯盟組織被選為該年度十五大髒歌（詳情可見部落格《My Own Private CD架》），其實以娜姊的歌曲來說，這首歌算是「點到為止」，並沒有太裸露、直接的情色之詞，頂多就是：「Gonna dress you up in my love, in my love. All over your body, all over your body. In my love. All over, all over. From your head down to your toes. （要用我的愛為你妝點外型，舖滿你的身體，從頭到腳）」但當初好像是某個聯盟重要人的女兒是娜姊的粉絲，本來家長就對娜姊很感冒，聽到女兒一再重覆聽《Dress You Up》，不免火大，聽到歌詞的弦外之音，更是火冒三丈，於是乎，這首歌就莫名其妙被列入了「髒歌」之林。

之前曾提過，她與舊愛史蒂芬布雷（Stephen Bray）一同創作了四首歌《Ain’t No Big Deal》、《Burning Up》、《Stay》及《Everybody》，並走訪各大舞廳，尋求播放的機會，最後終獲「」唱片公司青睞，但「Sire」卻看不上史蒂芬的才華，找來了當時紐約最大牌的DJ兼製作人Jerrybean Benitez為她製作專輯，並選定了《Ain’t No Big Deal》作為首波主打歌，最後送到華納高層卻被打了回票，情急之下，他們改選了《Holiday》補進專輯裡。因此《Ain’t No Big Deal》則成了遺珠之憾，多虧了日本版單曲，讓它重見天日。
