瑪丹娜（Madonna）《神秘約會》（Desperately Seeking Susan）

《神秘約會》英文原名叫《尋找蘇珊》，「蘇珊」就是「娜姊」瑪丹娜（Madonna）扮演的角色──濃妝豔抺、穿著暴露，愛享樂並周旋在不同男人間。這角色像極了她本人，引起評論界好評，她開始以為自己在演技上真有兩把刷子，因此開啟她日後堪稱「災難」的電影生涯。不過，電影收錄的單曲《Into the Groove》，卻出乎意料地大受歡迎，成為她第一首英國冠軍歌。

《神》片描述拘謹的已婚婦女蕾貝塔愛看小報啟事，有天發現一則的尋人啟事「焦急地尋找蘇珊」，引起她的好奇，開啟她一連串的性自覺體驗。該片製片最早想找歌蒂韓（Goldie Hawn）與黛安基頓（Diane Keaton）演出，但導演覺得她倆太老了，她看上了新人羅珊娜艾奎特（Rosanna Arquette）與瑪丹娜，但製片並不認同，他較屬意性感美豔的艾倫芭金（Ellen Barkin），導演卻堅持要娜姊去上四星期的短期演技課，然後再試一次鏡。一個月過去後，娜姊演技並沒有太大改進，但導演仍決定用她。

不過，事實證明導演是對的，娜姊演了她至今唯一一部最受好評的電影。

娜姊為了這部片，特地寫了一首與電影同名的主題曲《尋找蘇珊》（Desperately Seeking Susan），卻未獲採用，反而她剛錄好的一首新歌母帶《Into the Groove》，引起製片與導演的興趣，遊說她提前使用在電影裡。沒想到這一首只能算半成品的沒混音過的新歌，卻意外造成歡迎，許多看完電影的歌迷，紛紛詢問此首單曲何時發行，但當時搭配電影的原聲帶並未收錄，娜姊只好當成新單曲《天使》（Angel）的B面歌，《Into the Groove》只選擇在英國及歐洲國家發行單曲，立刻攻下英國榜冠軍，並在隨後改版的《宛如處女》（Like A Virgin）專輯中，收錄了此曲。

去年此片曾搬上舞台劇，並由同樣是性感偶像──「金髮美女」（Blonde）樂團的主唱黛博拉哈瑞Deborah Harry──負責填寫多數歌曲。沒想去年十一月十五日首演後，惡評如潮，只演了十三天便宣告下台；但日本仍對該劇有信心，換了全新班底，明年一月將登上東京舞台。
