雖然規模小，但學生所繳的學費，卻可以每一分都投資在教學上，其實對學生才是最有幫助的。我們曾接手過不少上過知名補習班的學生，而John自己也在知名補習班上過班，其實團體班的上課方式，老師不能了解每位學生的需求，也很容易顧此失彼；而同學之間的不熟識，致使羞於啟口說英文等等都是學習英文路上阻礙。

I have taught in language schools in Tainan for nearly six years and have experience teaching in elementary schools. I have also taught many individual adults and children as a tutor. Among my students have been some studying for IELTS and GEPT tests before going to the UK and America to further their education. Others have simply come to improve their fluency in English to help them with international meetings and communication with business partners. Others have come because they want to be more independent when they travel to other countries. It is always rewarding to see such students gain in confidence and ability to communicate. For your studies we can use whatever materials suit you best to match your needs and ability. For adult conversation I often use news items from the BBC Learning English website to stimulate discussion and to provide some vocabulary. With children I usually use Way Ahead; a set of books that provides a complete school-level course for classes and individuals. I have a wide experience of the world, having worked as a missionary in Bangladesh and Zambia as well as in England. I am interested in the society, culture and traditions of Taiwan. I am concerned about protecting the environment and overcoming global warming. Are you interested too?
