　　下星期五就是北京奧運開幕式了，雖然目前奧運主題曲和演唱人還沒有曝光，不過我最近都在聽歷年的奧運歌曲，這些歌曲除了朗朗上口之外，也非常大氣，愛聽氣勢磅礡的芭樂歌的人絕對會喜歡上這些奧運歌曲。

　　1996年的亞特蘭大奧運紅了三首歌─The Power Of Dream、Reach、Return To Innocence。

　　由Celine Dion演唱的"The Power Of Dream"獲選為亞特蘭大奧運的開幕曲(不過這首歌並不是當年的主題曲喔！)，Celine以一個加拿大籍歌手站上亞特蘭大奧運的開幕式表演真的很難得，加上當時的Celine其實在全球還沒以鐵達尼號主題曲走紅，不過在歐美已經名聲響噹噹了喔！

　　這首歌曲是由美國知名的作曲家David Foster和Babyface合作，在90年代這兩個製作人可是當紅炸子雞啊！我蠻喜歡這首歌的旋律，兼具悠揚和激昂，歌詞也非常振奮人心，應該算是一首典型的勵志歌曲。

　　這支單曲只在日本做商業發行，而且銷售達到金唱片的認證，在其他國家只被當成是單曲的b-side收錄而已。不過有收在亞洲和澳洲版的"Fallin' Into You"演唱會特別版改版中，這個特別版有雙CD喔！我後來在網拍上以極便宜的價錢買到全新的CD，真是高興啊！哈哈哈！後來Celine在2000年推出的精選輯The Collector's Series, Volume One(行家精選)中。

　　1996年的開幕是我沒有留下太多深刻的印象，唯一有的只有Celine Dion這個演唱片段而已喔！

　　



　　
　
　　而當年的奧運主題曲是由拉丁天后Gloria Estefan演唱的"Reach"，如果要我選出一首最喜歡的奧運主題曲的話，"Reach"可以說是我心目中的第一名。
　　
　　"Reach"由Gloria Estefan和芭樂天后作曲家滑輪姨Diane Warren共同譜寫，緊扣奧運"Swifter, Higher, Stronger"(更快、更高、更強)的主題，尤其在90年代初期，Gloria因為在巡迴演唱會途中車禍脊椎受了重傷後重新站起來，更替這首歌賦予了深刻的意義。

　　我印象中當初亞特蘭大奧運國內媒體轉播比賽時，這首歌曲的播放率很高，所以年紀還小的我對這首歌的旋律印象很深刻，一直到後來真正接觸西洋音樂之後，就一直想找這首歌曲來聽，後來也在網拍上以極便宜的價錢買到了「1996年奧運的喝彩」這張官方合輯(合輯中真是大牌雲集啊！還有Babyface、Mary J Blige等等。)

　　亞特蘭大奧運另外一首注目的歌曲，是Enigma樂團的Return to Innocence。這首歌曲原本收錄在Enigma於1994年發行的專輯The Cross of Changes.當中。1996年被選為亞特蘭大奧運官方形象宣傳曲而被運用在形象廣告上。這首歌曲在推出當時獲得美國告示牌單曲榜第4名、英國金榜單曲榜第5名，並在超過10個國家拿到冠軍，美國地區由RIAA認證為金唱片銷售，以新世紀音樂來說應該算是很好的成績喔！
　　
　　不過後來被發現，這首歌取樣了郭英男的「飲酒歌」，但原本的Enigma卻沒有取得原唱者的同意。這首歌曲後來會走紅的原因之一，也是因為郭英男方面對這個「侵權」的舉動提出告訴並且勝訴。不過我倒是覺得這可能只是Enigma的大意啦！畢竟他們也並沒有惡意，有可能把這個曲子當成是沒有版權的傳統民謠而使用在自己的曲子當中。不過還好後來這個事件已經順利落幕了。

　　配合1996年當時即將邁入20世紀末的人心不安，從亞特蘭大奧運選了新世紀風格的歌曲作為形象廣告使用，可以看到奧運的主辦單位從那時候開始就一直強調，在面對科技高度發展的世界時，更重要的是回歸到"人"的存在。
