　　2003年以"Stacy's Mom"走紅並入圍當年葛萊美獎最佳新進藝人與最佳樂團演唱的Fountains of Wayne，"I Want an Alien for Christmas"是他們在1997年發行的聖誕單曲中的同名歌曲。
　　

　　Fountains of Wayne最為人所熟之的就是其團員之一的Adam Schlesinger在1996年替電影「擋不住的奇蹟」所創作的主題曲That Thing You Do獲得奧斯卡最佳電影主題曲的提名。但是真正走紅是在2003年發行的Welcome Interstate Managers專輯中的單曲Stacy's Mom，由於當時流行的正好是Fountains of Wayne所擅長的流行搖滾曲風，搭著新興的順風車終於使得在樂壇已經打滾一陣子的Fountains of Wayne能見度大大提升。
　　這首歌曲一樣是該樂團擅長的曲風，比較特別的是有別於其他聖誕歌曲的溫馨、大愛的走向，這首單曲表現出時下年輕人的創意、無厘頭和顛覆傳統。已經厭倦了傳統聖誕禮物的青少年期待的是聖誕老人能送給他一個外星人，其實聽起來還蠻可愛的XD。
　　同樣在1997年發行的這張單曲裡另外收錄一首歌曲名為Man in the Santa Suit也是很有趣的聖誕歌喔！
