The Museum of LIN KAI with No River is another project of Stepout aside from Without Eyes. The Without Eyes series is a theatre creation in the form of series, which is rare in Macau. From 2003 onwards, this series has gradually developed into a small theatre creation that explores cultural identity of people in Macau after the Handover through collaboration, personal experiences of performers and is a pioneer in local oral history theatre. Creations and productions include Without Eyes (Macau Fringe 2003), Without Eyes 2, Dr. Currybone, Three Days to See III (Macau Fringe 2004) and Without Eyes 4. Unique movement designs, a poetic stage imagery combining with a narrative style of juxtaposing reality and imagination, it opens up an alternative and realistic small theatre scene in Macau. In July last year, Stepout performed a piece with the theme of the San Kiu district memory called Without Eyes 5 during the Ox Theatre Festival. This April, Stepout is going to use materials from the previous piece to reconstruct them into a micro museum. A journey to the old district inviting audiences to go into the old district will be added to explore new memories of the San Kiu district together.

Part 1: Museum Theatre
San Kiu is originally San Kiu Village, one of the eight biggest old villages in Macau, with the Lin Kai river flowing within. Poor Space, which is located in the San Kiu district, will be transformed into a micro museum. History, oral memories, folklores, changes of streets, etc, of the ancient San Kiu Village and Lin Kai area will be included in the performance. By using videos, original music, sound effects, photography and moving installation, etc, they let audiences enter a theatre world where memories, legends and reality juxtaposes and will transform into performers.

Part 2: Journey to the Old District Interactive Game
After going to the museum, audiences will get a treasure map with clues to be solved. Audiences who after they follow instructions of the map, find information from the museum, solve all the clues from the map and bring the right answer back to the museum will receive prizes from Stepout. If they are right on time, they will even see a performance merging with the old district.

Stepout
Established in June 2001, a performing arts organization that does not want to be defined as drama organization or dance organization. For 6 years, it has been expressing its care towards the society and people through its original theatre pieces, breaking through boundaries of different art forms in the aesthetics and showing a diverse performance style.
As for theatre works, Without Eyes 4 and Without Eyes 5 is still attempting to seek identity and self-acceptance of people and in Macau after the Handover. The Freshman Theatre, which has been held for three years, give an experiment and creation platform for the new generation of the theatre field.
During summer, Stepout let eight youth from the theatre to Taipei for the Broaden Your Horizons Arts and Cultural Tour. During the tour, they held a Taiwan and Macau Theatre Exchange Party with mjkc.tw, Gu Ling Theatre and other small theatre organizations in Taipei. In October, Stepout invited arts critic from Hong Kong, Siu Sai and Chan Kwok Wai, to hold the (Small) Theatre Space and Performances seminar, so as to broaden artistic horizons of local youth of the theatre.
