致香巴拉全體，

今天，我以一悲傷和沉重的心情，就竹旺．貝瑪．諾布仁波切之入涅槃，向各位寫信。貝諾法王隻手振興、強化了寧瑪傳統；對香巴拉傳承與社群，他亦有深刻的影響。

法王曾為我昇座為薩姜；而他的最後一個活動，正是為康卓次央——薩姜王母認證和坐床。他也是我的導師、顧問，與同盟。他是藏族文化和精神修行之重要上師與支持者，在西藏社群中發揮了巨大作用。他是一位真實的菩薩，以極大的勇氣和信念，永不知疲倦地工作著。他更是純正的、不畏艱難困苦的。很難想像這世界上不再有他的存在了。

於此期間，法王正處在三摩地中，弟子們禪修、謹記他的仁慈和加持，是適當的做法。金剛乘弟子可誦金剛薩埵百字明咒，淨化業障，並且修習上師相應法。

在這極為悲傷和痛毀之時，我的心念和祈禱普及貝諾法王所照護的祖古、堪布、喇嘛，和成千上萬的僧侶和尼眾。我毫不懷疑他們必將實現仁波切所有的願望，繼續不懈努力栽植佛法的勝利幢幡。

28 Mar 2009 - Sakyong on the passing of His Holiness Penor Rinpoche

To the Shambhala Community,

It is with a sad and heavy heart that I write to you today with the passing of His Holiness Drupwang Pema Norbu Rinpoche. His Holiness single-handedly revitalized and strengthened the Nyingma tradition. He also had a profound effect on the Shambhala lineage and community.

His Holiness enthroned me as the Sakyong, and one of his last activities was his confirmation and enthronement of Khandro Tseyang as the Sakyong Wangmo. He was also a teacher, advisor, and ally for me. He played a tremendous role in the Tibetan community as one of the key teachers and supporters of Tibetan culture and spirituality. He was a true bodhisattva who worked tirelessly, with great courage and conviction. He was genuine and undaunted by hardships. It is hard to imagine a world without his presence.

During this time, while His Holiness is in the state of samadhi, it is appropriate for students to practice meditation, remembering his kindness and blessings. Vajrayana students may recite the Vajrasattva mantra, purifying obscurations, and practice guruyoga sadhanas.

During this very sad and devastating time, my thoughts and prayers go out to all the tulkus, khenpos, lamas, and thousands upon thousands of monks and nuns that were under His Holiness's care. I have no doubt that they will fulfill all the wishes of Rinpoche and continue the tireless work of planting the victory banner of dharma.

在邱陽創巴仁波切入寂（1987年），暨後來香巴拉攝政王 Vajra Regent Osel Tendzin 因愛滋病事件而導致僧團分裂的艱難過渡時期，有多位佛教大師護念著香巴拉的神聖法脈，扶持後來昇座的、當時甚年輕的薩姜米龐仁波切（彼時稱薩旺，王子之意）；其中最戮力者，即為尊貴的頂果欽哲法王，與貝諾法王。

1990年代中期，貝諾法王認證薩姜是為十九世紀西藏著名學者，大米龐的轉世化身 Mipham the Great；1995年，法王在加拿大香巴拉總部哈利法克斯（Halifax, Nova Scotia），為薩姜（大地護佑者之銜）正式昇座；2008年，法王更為薩姜王母舉行昇座大典 Sakyong Wangmo Empowerment（照片集錦）；此時法王已玉體違和，但仍欣然照顧香巴拉傳承之接續。法王恩澤，不可稱量。

香巴拉全體此時正為法王之入涅槃修行回向。

香巴拉今天（3/27/2009）得到這令人悲傷的消息：尊貴的貝諾法王已經在印度圓寂。現正在德國的香巴拉總領袖，薩姜米龐仁波切，將於近日內對香巴拉大眾開示（薩姜與薩姜王母日前才面謁過法王，探視其病情）。直到米龐仁波切開示前，請所有金剛乘弟子持續念誦金剛薩埵百字明咒。

尊勝的貝諾法王是薩姜米龐仁波切的上師之一。薩姜曾於法王駐地——寧瑪教派最大教學中心南卓林寺，追隨法王與堪布研習多年，法王也一直照護著香巴拉的法脈傳承；貝諾法王於1995年為薩姜舉行了昇座大典；並於2008年為薩姜王母舉行昇座大典。法王一生為傳揚佛法，教育法眾，孜孜努力，歷經艱辛，從不間斷。法王的入涅，是全體金剛乘佛教徒、及舉世香巴拉人之痛。

27 Mar 2009 - His Holiness Penor Rinpoche Passes Away

His Holiness Drubwang Pema Norbu Rinpoche has passed away in India. The Sakyong, presently in Germany, will be sending an address to the Shambhala community in the near future. Until that time, Vajrasattva mantra may be done by vajrayana students.

His Holiness has been a spiritual master to the Sakyong for many years. The Sakyong studied with His Holiness and His Khenpos at Namdroling, the largest Nyingma teaching centre in the world.

His Holiness Penor Rinpoche recognized the Sakyong as Mipham Rinpoche and conferred the Enthronement of the Sakyong in 1995, and the Sakyong Wangmo in 2008.

His Holiness Drubwang Pema Norbu Rinpoche Enters Tugdam

March 28th, 2009

The 11th Throneholder of the Palyul Lineage of the Nyingma School of Tibetan Buddhism, His Holiness Penor Rinpoche, entered the final stage of meditation at 8:20 PM on Friday, March 27, 2009, at the Palyul Namdroling Monastery in Bylakuppe, South India.

Earlier, at noon, His Holiness received offerings from many of the highest Nyingma Lamas, Tulkus and dignitaries who had assembled to pay homage to him. Rinpoche left Columbia Asia Hospital at 3:30 PM with a Indian police escort arranged with the assistance of the Bhutanese government. He reached Palyul Namdroling at 6:40 PM and remained on his bed at the residence. Tulkus, Khenpos and lamas did aspiration prayers together with His Holiness until 8:20 PM. At that time Rinpoche looked around and then closed his eyes and went into meditation....

薩姜米龐仁波切自幼年即接受其父親邱陽創巴仁波切的全人格訓練，他不但是禪修大師，也創作詩歌，並寫得一筆好字。

藏文法書的內容為: Konchok Rigden - Rare, and supreme Rigden - 稀有，無上的利格登王。

作品右下角的封印是「蠍之印」（Scorpion Seal），代表薩姜傳承之印；左上角的封印是「帝」（DHIH），文殊師利之種子字，米龐傳承之表徵。

這是一張非常珍貴的照片。著名的寧瑪大師，頂果欽哲法王，在西藏時，即是邱陽創巴仁波切的上師之一。他們之間的因緣，追溯到前世今生：頂果欽哲曾經在第十世創巴仁波切座下學法，而後來，他又成為第十一世創巴（邱陽創巴）仁波切的老師。

在創巴仁波切赴歐美傳播佛法給西方人的世界之時，因為其與眾不同、並且非傳統式的接引作風，頗受到許多同儕西藏喇嘛的誤解非議。「只有頂果欽哲仁波切，在提到創巴仁波切之名時，總是用特別尊重的口吻，也不贊同其他人對創巴仁波切的評語──似乎只有他，能夠了解創巴仁波切的心意伏藏，香巴拉的願景和視見。」（此根據宗薩欽哲仁波切2005年一月，於加拿大Halifax的口述故事。）

1976年，頂果欽哲法王，應創巴仁波切之邀，首度至北美訪問。數年前 (2004年)，雪謙冉江仁波切（Shechen Rabjam Rinpoche 頂果欽哲仁波切的孫子，現雪謙寺的住持），於紐約香巴拉中心傳法的時候，以藏文（當場有英文翻譯），向我們唸誦了頂果欽哲仁波切離開北美時、在飛機的航程上、寫給創巴仁波切的一首長詩，其文字之優美，情感之珍惜殷切，冉江仁波切說，翻譯其實也難以傳達藏文原詩的韻味與深意，唸著唸著，他禁不住眼紅哽咽，而我們在場有福聽到這首詩的人，也多啜泣了──只是這一份珍重相惜的知音之情，大師之間超然、深摯不移的友誼，無限的智慧與慈悲之心境...... 令我們都深深地感動著。＊（有朝一日，若因緣具足，或有譯者可將這首長詩翻成中文，與大眾共享。）

創巴仁波切圓寂後，由頂果欽哲法王為其 主持了荼毗大典；之後，在香巴拉經過的困難時期裡，頂果欽哲法王一直照顧護念著香巴拉法脈傳承，而薩姜米龐仁波切（當時尚未昇座，仍稱薩旺 Sawang，意指「大地聖尊」，Earth Lord），更到尼泊爾法王座下研習數年，直到1991年法王入涅為止。頂果欽哲法王曾這樣稱許讚嘆創巴仁波切：


「他（創巴仁波切）是所有曼達拉之主；在外相的層次，他具體展現了三寶；
在內在的層次，他具體展現了三根；
在祕密的層次，他具體展現了三身，即證悟身。」

"As old man Brilliant Moon travels in the sky
Prince Ocean of Dharma remains on the ground
Though in the illusion of circumstance, there seems to be great distance between
In the mind's heart-realm of one flavor, separations do not exist.

Brilliant Moon's light-garland streams from heaven's height
From the moment it touches Ocean of Dharma on the ground
It becomes activity for the welfare of others, dispelling the torment of the dark age
Since in the absolute meaning there is no separation, this self-expression
of auspicious coincidence occurs... "

當明月之老者旅行於空際
法海王子仍駐留於大地
從外境之幻覺看來似乎距離遙遠
然在一味之心界中，實無有分離。

明月之光環從穹蒼射出
在那碰觸地面之法海的瞬間
它成為了利生的事業，驅除黑暗時代的煩惱痛苦
既然在絕對真諦中無有分隔，這自顯的
吉祥因緣於是生發。...

費時三個月、由尊貴的南卡竹美仁波切（Namkha Drimed Rinpoche）在印度東部奥雷沙邦（Orissa）新院 Rigon Thupten Mindrolling 傳授給香巴拉總導師薩姜．米龐仁波切之一系列大寶伏藏法（珍寶伏藏）灌頂，已於三月中順利、完滿結束。薩姜米龐仁波切與薩姜王母並在圓滿日供養南卡竹美仁波切，感謝他鉅細靡遺、毫無遺漏地殷殷傳法。

薩姜在一封致大眾的信中提到：

「我們剛剛圓滿大寶伏藏的灌頂；歷時正好三個月。在這段期間，尊貴的南卡竹美仁波切以令人難以置信的愛和努力，傳授給我們共九百個灌頂大法。這是最詳盡的大寶伏藏之傳法。我們都覺得極為喜悅、幸運與充滿福佑，也感覺到某件不平常的、深奧的吉事已經發生；但在同時，我也感覺到一種平常感。

習慣上，大寶伏藏圓滿之時，此傳承只將授與給一個人；如同當年雪謙康楚仁波切傳給持明（創巴仁波切），以及持明創巴仁波切傳給南卡竹美仁波切。在藏曆新年的第八天、2009年三月四號，尊貴的南卡竹美仁波切將大寶伏藏之傳承傳授與我。當他為我授受『宇宙君王』(universal monarch) 稱號昇座大典時、我坐在他的右側，我經驗到那非常戲劇性、亦極富色彩、歡慶的灌頂之圓滿。」
