We at the ShakeHouse see providing you with unique,high quality coffee as more than simply a business. By selecting coffee beans that are verified by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), the Utz Kapeh (Mayan for “good coffee”) organization, The Rainforest Alliance, and Ecocert, we ensure that the coffee you drink has been harvested using techniques that minimize the environmental impact of the bean growing process. We also choose to do business only with those distributors whose beans meet the strict standards set by the Fairtrade organization, which seeks to improve the lives of farmers and workers in the developing world by requiring companies to provide decent working conditions and to pay above-market prices for labor and products. Quality is of course one of our priorities: we only buy from USDA-approved vendors to guarantee that the beans used to produce your coffee are 100% organic.

In drinking a cup of coffee at the ShakeHouse , you too can take part in our mission to provide world-class coffee using the most environmentally friendly and socially conscious means available.

雨林聯盟認證組織藉著改變土地使用模式、商業運行模式和消費者的行為模式，達到保護土地的自然生態環境，以及依靠這塊土地生長的人民。各類公司、合作社或是土地擁有者必須接受有保存生物多樣性、提供可永續發展的營生方式之檢驗後，才能成為雨林聯盟的認證會員。
