The Re-imagined‧重組想像的

一直到許多年之後的某個心動瞬間我才突然憶起，十五歲時曾發表過詩作，標題是「金急雨」(The golden shower)。那是每天上學途中常見的像豔陽般自天空灑下而在秋天時會落英繽紛的一種金黃色路樹，充滿生命力的熱情地景，南方城市常見且深深印刻在我青少年心靈裡的樹景。我還記得，當時用了一個好玩的筆名叫「榻榻米」，其實也就是當時我睡的床。

我要講的不是詩本身，我想起的是那種很自然地把生活經驗和身體感受輕巧地轉化為文化再現材料的某種「心情」。對，就是那種饒富詩意的心情。那種幾乎是本能地湧上來想創造些什麼的心情，卻在成年以後被計畫塞爆的繁忙生命中逐漸地遺落了。

有趣的是，當我記起來以後，就再也無法停止了，於是我又可以開始寫詩。真希望這種詩意盎然的心情可以永續，永不再消失。

於是我有一個小結論：只要人生計畫的前提使你必須（或漸漸必須）遠離或丟棄這種饒富詩意的心情，不管以多麼偉大的抬頭或藉口為名，一點兒都不值得追求。

As you know, the lyrics of American Pie are done by a well-known singer song-writer, Don Mclean. The subject of this album is all about music curiosity, i.e. the favorite questions regarding music. When regularly asked what "American Pie" meant, McLean thus replied,

Sorry to leave you all on your own like this but long ago I realized that songwriters should make their statements and move on, maintaining a dignified silence. 

Thoughts in writing are all about

Possibilities, openness, and creativities.

The crucial point is not how illy shameful

The nakedness of wordings is,

But how mentally limited and stubbornly dirty

Your imagination could be led to.

What on earth makes you start to think then?

Sometimes the limit of imagination comes from

The poverty of philosophy, sometimes

The breakdown of freedom of speech, but

Sometimes, it’s simply due to

The lack of humanity, hope and beauty in mind.
