就在聽完演講的隔日, 馬上開始發燒。。。所以拖到現在才有辦法把我那天的感想紀錄下來。。。

那天我提早離開OFFICE，抱著有如小影迷要去看他們的偶像的心情，到了紐約的第二中國城，FLUSHING，一個我熟悉的不能在熟悉的地方~

as soon as I'd arrived, soon I started looking for 鄭弘儀的書，我想說帶著去給他簽名，可是當我一進入個書店並且看到許許多多蚯蚓的書。。。我就感覺應該是找不到了，可是我還是問了一下老闆，而他只给我一個冷笑。。。我不相信，又跑去另一個BOOKSTORE。。。一樣的結果。。。 這使我的心都涼了一半。。。我心想。。。即使是住在一個所謂推崇自由的國家，某些人的言論還是被打壓的。

since I couldn't get his books~ so I went ahead and bought two white shirts~ still didn't give up my dream of getting his autograph~ =D~

Soon after I arrived the speech location. I took this picture~

I arrived a lot earlier than everyone else~ I simply couldn't wait!!
Later when more people have arrived~ I then realized the speech won't start as it's displayed...













during this waiting period, the people on the stage was trying to teach everyone there a few songs sang in Taiwanese to welcome 鄭弘儀~ eh~ one of them is my uncle!! =D~














After a short while~ 鄭弘儀 finally emerged from far end of the room~

After a few 主辦人got booed off the stage, =D~ 鄭弘儀's speech finally started~













This speech was quite similar to the ones he had given in Taiwan~ his childhood life, talking about Taiwanese should focus and know more about our own root and our history. We should have the right to know what Japanese had done for/to Taiwan, both good/bad. We shouldn't be learning so much about Chinese history... 文言文and such...

He also gave examples of how 清朝 had sent people to manage Taiwan.
During the time when 清朝 was governing Taiwan, 台灣人的牙齒都是爛的，因為他們對台灣人的不重視，也因為台灣對於大清來說，只是一個向東南洋拓展的踏板。teeth problem is only 冰山一角, there were many other 陋習 brought on board.

Later he moved to a not so distance history~ he raised the question~ how many people here used to bring 參考書 to class? Under KMT's ruling, Taiwanese learned how to cheat, how power is more important than honesty... which I've seen with my own eyes from the people around me...

He also brought up the subject about we Taiwanese' gene, which has been talked about quite a lot by other 台派大大， 小弟就不在此贅述啦。

During his water break~ he mentioned that 大話新聞 is undergoing enormous pressure... and he was sorry he couldn't say much about it. Someone also raised the question about how DPP should get up and fight, he said, 民進黨輸了也不完全是壞事，輸了可以看民進黨有無擔當，可不可以接受託付。民進黨錯了，也該罵。
鄭大哥拿出了一段蔡英文說的話："不是民進黨帶台灣人民走，是台灣人民帶民進黨走"

最後，鄭大哥 concluded with "不放棄的精神是力量，成績是我們拼出來的!"

One quick thought~ as you may have already noticed from the pictures... there weren't that many young people there... sigh.... Taiwanese Youngsters! Wake up and fight for your right while you still can!!
