My interview experiences(1)~

I just want to record my experiences for my past interviews before they slip off my mind~ =P~
I really can't deny the fact that I am getting old and who knows how much I can still remember tomorrow~ sigh~

Although I am not that experienced yet, I think that makes my experience similar to the people who would need this the most~

I think my first interview was... 3 years ago~

Thanks to my school and friends~ I was taught what I needed to prepare before I went on an interview~ If anyone really had no idea, here is a brief list of what you may need to bring/to do/to prepare beforehand to increase your chance of ace an interview~

1. Resume, I was taught your resume is better to be fit in one page! (This may not be the same for all cultures because my dad helped my brother build a resume and it was 3 pages long~) If you just finish school and do not have a lot of experiences, you can fill your resume with some of your school activities~ List your experiences top down from most recent to the oldest. (There are also some tips to follow, leave a message if you are interested~)
2. Study the company that you got an interview from, and talk to the people who've already worked at this company if you can. Brainstorm and jot down the questions you can ask(even when you don't really care, act like you care...) the interviewers.
3. Get a good night sleep~
4. Be there on time!!! (I usually went extra early because I prefer to be there earlier to prepare, but it really depends on what kind of person you are~)
5. Bring several copies of your resume~
6. Study your resume and know what you wrote down on your resume~
7. Dress appropriately~
8. Smile~ =D~

That's about it, that's about everything I did before my first interview~ I got lucky on my first interview because I really wouldn't know what questions I would be asked if I didn't talk to someone who have already worked for the company... I was able to answer everything professionally(at least I thought I did) and I was able to talk a lot more fluently than normal... I think that's because I got really nervous, so I started talking extremely fast and it seemed like I really knew what I was talking about~

(Coming up next~ interview is not only for the company to see what kind of person you are, but more importantly, for you to see if this company is really for you~)
