鏡頭悠悠緩緩的對著這個2006年才從南斯拉夫獨立出來的全新國家─蒙特內哥羅西南部的偏遠山區。山裡面的居民以自己的步調過著遺世獨立、自給自足 的生活。晨昏晴雨、四季流轉，時間在這裡彷彿仍停滯在十七世紀……然而當看到老奶奶把可口可樂當成世界上最有效的藥水來喝；或是牧羊的老爺爺邊趕著羊邊接 起手機的「超現實」畫面，山裡面的生活似乎漸漸的起了變化……。一部慧黠、迷人的小品，節奏非常有趣。
「我離開祖國時，也同時帶了我的故鄉，那些迷人的景緻深刻停留在我心裡。有了拍這部片的機會，彷彿又讓我重回幼年時光。一切如舊。但同時間，我也感受到那 裡正受著這所謂外頭大文明世界的侵擾。那兒的生活會被塑膠製品、可口可樂、手機污染摧毀嗎？我的故鄉會沉默地死去嗎？」－弗拉吉米爾．波羅維克

When 21st century entered picturesque mountainous region of Cuce (western Montenegro), it met the 17th over there: old habits and folk customs preserved, the lack of drinking water and female newcomers… The question “to leave or to stay” is in everyone’s mind. Many uncommon characters and images tell us a story at the edge of so called civilization...
“When I left my native region, I took it along with me forever. The magnificent images remained alive deep in me. When the conditions eventually were set up to enable me to materialize out my images through the art of the cinema, I realized that, by making this film, by putting together the sequences of images into a flow and narration, I started living again a period of my life. All was the same as then. And I felt, bit a bit, intermittently, their world was intruded and jeopardized by some of the elements of the big world, so called civilization. How long the authenticity, genuineness and virginity of these people and of this life can remain untouched? Will their life be contaminated and destroyed by plastics, Coca-Cola, mobiles, poisoning political news…!? Will my native region, a region more, die a silent death…!?” – Vladimir Perovic
