保加利亞女孩克莉絲汀是個生活在阿姆斯特丹的外籍移民，她以鐘點清潔工為生，清掃著一間間客廳餐廳廚房臥室…，擦拭這扇窗、清理那個角落，在清掃的 同時，抹去的痕跡也成為她存在的印記。影片以沉靜內斂的影像、詩意優美的黑白攝影，細細勾勒出她的生活、工作、價值、挫折與渴望，也深刻對比出荷蘭中產階 級的生活和文化差異。

「在本片中，我試圖將一個清潔工在清掃房子時的孤獨生活視覺化。克莉絲汀就像許多其他的家庭或辦公室清潔工，被我們需要且刻意的忽視，但克莉絲汀 對她的被忽視展開反抗，從守門人變成藝術家，進而從她的藝術中證明存在。與克莉絲汀的工作經驗非常特別，她原本是我忽略的清潔工，但最後成了我的朋友以及 一個獨立的攝影師，我們共同開設了一個名為『不被紀錄的藝術家』網站。」─蘇珊娜．羅耶絲


Hristina is invisible. Quiet and unnoticed, she cleans houses. She is a Bulgarian living in Amsterdam. Contact with her employers takes place mainly through notes. To come to terms with her life, she takes photographs of the interiors of 'her' houses. Together these photos from the house she inhabits in the Netherlands. A house that holds her prisoner.

“In this film I tried to visualise the lonely life of a cleaning lady inside the houses she cleans. Hristina is one of the many invisible people cleaning houses or offices, people we need but try to ignore. But Hristina fights back her invisibility, she evolves from a janitor into an artist, and with her art proves her existence. Working with Hristina was very special to me: for years she was my invisible cleaning lady but at the end she became my friend and works as an independent photographer. Together with the film we started a site for ‘undocumented’ artist www.art2stay.nl.” - Suzanne Raes
