第三部的人物是艾可、卡琳、古淳和古淳的父親亞瑟，他是戈索集體農場知名的領導人。這群孩子們的第一個老師瑪利也將在這部重新出現。

接受過專業書記訓練的艾可失業多年，現在持續靠著失業救濟金過活。在攝影機前缺席將近三十年的她同意再度接受拍攝。

同樣在幾十年後同意接受拍攝的還有卡琳。她在柏林圍牆倒下後，離開戈索，前往西德找工作。今天她從事照顧老年人的護士工作。攝影機在她五十歲生日時重新回到她的生活。

Part 3 focuses on Elke, Karin and Gudrun as well as Gudrun’s father, Arthur Klitzke, the well-known head of the collectivized farm in Golzow. There is also a reencounter with the first class teacher Marlies Teike.

Elke, a trained commercial clerk, has been unemployed for years and is now living from unemployment assistance. Almost 30 years of absence from the camera, she agreed to be filmed again.

Karin also agreed to be filmed again after decades. She left Golzow after the Wall came down to look for a job in western Germany. Today she is working as a nurse for the elderly. On her 50th birthday the camera returned into her life.
