I hope I am filling this out correctly!
I wanted to thank everyone for making my visit to Taipei and to the International Book Exposition so pleasant. I received a very warm welcome and felt very comfortable for my entire visit.
It was wonderful to see so many readers of all kinds of books at the exposition. I could not believe how many readers came to meet me! Everyone was so courteous and kind to me. It was an experience I will never forget.
I am back at home now, at my desk, working hard to complete my newest book. I hope soon to put some of the photographs from my Taipei visit up on my website.
With best wishes,
Robin Hobb

Actually not all your Chinese edition reader can come to Taiwan at the day of International Book Exposition due to work, studies, money... many of us lives in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore... will you willing to have a Asia visit later?
Sorry for interrupts here, but I must say: you are much beautiful lady than any pictures we saw before you come to Taiwan~~~ [this message appears in a lots of message boards now...]
...I love your Farseer series due to its linkages between chapters, nice topic with at least three related item can find out in each chapters. And the ‘heart to heart’ talk between Fitz and other characters. Fitz always did something ‘not the best choice’ for him, and he tasted the bitterness after that. Although we all know he is the main character = will not died until the end of book. But still, he is a poor boy in the series. And let us to reflect ourself through reading.
No debt I read it for so many times, but I am not a good reader as the host of website 'http://www.taconet.com.tw/evil815002'. You can find many pictures in the blue URL under title "10.30. 05'". or may be you can ask the host to send picture to you directly!
Still remember we discuss about different between Lord Bright and August. Hahaha, he/she has a very clear mind about your books [exp. Fareeer and Tawny Man Trilogy]. May be you can remember who he/she is from the picture provided....
Um... like many other readers... If you have time to talk to your favorite writer, you became lost in the happiness and say a mess of useless things... Here the very morning in GMT+08:00 area. Still many would like to ask, but you may have already answered before...

Sorry for quite a long essay without much important things in it. And poor grammar in use… Anyway, thanks for reading and hope I can buy your latest book in Hong Kong soon. [Um… both English and Chinese editions ^__^]
*Your Farseer series in Chinese edition attract quite a lot of reading in public library here, and most of them are being reserved… I try to borrow Royal Assassin once, just after fortnight they [in Chinese edition is book 1 & 2] were recalled immediately. So, I buy it after that. I have the whole series of The Farseer Trilogy and The Tawny Man Trilogy in home. And it is very enjoyable experience when reading your books.

What an amazing thing that we can meet Ms. Hobb here!
Well, it is a wonderful memory for me to meet Ms. Hobb face to face because Ms. Hobb is one of my favorite writers!
When waiting in line, I felt nervous, and after meeting Ms. Hobb I just kept smiling like a fool...
The books which have Ms. Hobb's signature will be my treasure forever! XD

The International Book Exposition was alse a wonderful experience to us. That day was the first time I met so many readers who like Ms. Hobb's books. And can saw the creater of my favorite story and had a precious sign were the most excited thing!
By the way, my sister was the last one asked you to signed her chinese name. We both are very sorry to make you trouble and thank you still tried to sign the chinese word hard. We will perserve the signed book for good!
I had participated the souvenir album and wrote a short English letter for you used the name of Amy. After I sent the letter to the sponor I still found many mistakes. Here please let me say sorry again to let you saw such an imperfect work.
Finally, wish you can someday comeback to Taiwan again and enjoy the life!
Best wishes

I must say that the book I was given at the Book Exposition is something that I will treasure forever. I have looked through it many times, marvelling at the different contributions from readers. There is so much in there: the photographs and notes, the art and all the kind wishes. It is a very special sort of gift to receive. The art and drawings are wonderful to me; it always amazes me to see how the words of a story are put into pictures that reflect the reader as much as the writer. And I always envy people who can create that kind of art.
I continue to work hard on the final chapter of Forest Mage. Visiting Taipei was a wonderful inspiration to me and greatly refreshed my imagination and my desire to write.
With best wishes to all,
Robin Hobb
