tuesday
tastes like apple yet ripened
a crying quality to it
like words unspoken
tears unshed
lingering between eyes and chest
or a seed frozen on its way to blooming
that decides to turn back and crouch
awaiting next spring
or next next spring

the aching taste devours me totally
on tuesday
