2008.1.7 設計週創作實驗

有幸在第二屆台北數位藝術節看到互動音樂桌Reactable project，也很高興能了解其運作方式。在作者群不藏私的分享，其核心程式也開放供大家研究使用。

Fun Media也在這些巨人的影子下，做了一個創作實驗，我們用了網路上可愛的小圖片(感謝匡緯同學提供)，透過Processing將其活化，參與者可以像扮演布袋戲般的方式來操控那些可愛的小玩物，同時也發現在未來其應用面的可能性。下面將為大家介紹這個神奇的東西，並把這次實驗的結果分享給大家。

reacTIVision is an open source, cross-platform computer vision framework for the fast and robust tracking of fiducial markers attached onto physical objects, as well as for multi-touch finger tracking. It was mainly designed as a toolkit for the rapid development of table-based tangible user interfaces (TUI) and multi-touch interactive surfaces. This framework has been developed by Martin Kaltenbrunner and Ross Bencina at the Music Technology Group at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Spain as part of the the reactable project, a novel electro-acoustic music instrument with a tangible user interface.

Fun Media: 還有手指追蹤(multi-touch finger tracking)，看來以後應該會有更新奇的應用。

使用步驟:
1. 請先確認電腦有JAVA 環境，或至JAVA網站安裝。
2. 執行程式前，請先安裝您的webcam。
3. 列印code.pdf 內的圖碼，並剪下貼在紙板，或任何您想貼的地方。
4. 運行fun.exe。並設定webcam參數。
5. 運行go.exe 待出現畫面便可以玩Fun唷。
