在下很喜歡五六十年代美國民歌，早前發現有人將BBC播放有關美國近代民歌的歷史影集放上youtube，內裡資料十分豐富及有珍貴的影像，給了在下很大的驚喜，現時放上的暫只有1-12集，在此推薦給真正喜愛民歌及一些口中經常掛著如何喜愛民歌的朋友參閱。看看人家近代的Folk Song Revival 是如何興起的。有人曾說民歌不偉大，但在下反而覺得是偉大的，因為當時亦曾影響其他國家的年青人，而在音樂歷史上亦佔一地位。

真的希望本港正在所謂推廣民歌的朋友，不要吹噓太多，最重要的是多參考，吸收人家精彩的部份，並要真正的定位。Hahahaa！ 不過話分兩頭，這些已當自己是 “民歌之神” 的人，又那會入耳？

早前在報章上亦拜讀一位本港 "著名民歌界鉅子" 的文章，內容是他如何熱愛民歌，民歌是他的生活動力，嗯，看後感動得想哭 ^_^，想他家中一定藏有很多歐美或其他國家的的民歌唱片、CD，書籍，及對民歌一定有深厚的認識，有機會定必向他討教及商借一些唱片作為參考之用。

上星期六 (2月14日) 在一次飲飲食食的聚會中，與一對年青夫婦朋友攀談，原來大家也想為一朋共同認識的朋友舉辦一次演唱會。OK，於是昨日聯同其他志同道合的朋友商量後，hahaha, 最重要是得"事主" 首允"，決定落實執行，希望過程順順利利。

年輕時很喜歡聖誕節及聽聖誕歌曲，每每聖誕臨近，心情往往有一種詳和感覺，市面上熱鬧境況，心情更添愉快。就算沒有朋友相約遊玩，也會獨自去人流較旺的地方，感受節日氣氛。但年紀漸長，每天生活在巨大的壓力下，現時過任何節日，已再沒有感覺，可以的話，一般都留在家中。

過往在收集一些美國六十年代的民謠唱片及CD時，發現有很多民謠歌手及樂隊也有灌錄聖誕音樂唱片，例如Kingston Trio (The Last Month of The Year) 、Joan Baez (Noel)、New Christy Minstrels (Christmas with The New Christy Minstrels)、Modern Folk Quarted (MFQ - Christmas) 、Emmylou Harris (Light of The Stable)、The Brothers Four (1. Merry Christmas 2. Christmas Concert) 、Peter, Paul and Mary (A Holiday Celebrationt) 等等，當中選曲都是一些傳統的聖誕歌曲。但有一首多年來對我感受很深的是Peter, Paul and Mary成員Noel Paul Stookey的作品， 歌名叫 Christmas Dinner，這曲不是收錄在Peter, Paul and Mary的聖誕專集裡，而是收錄在他們1969年一張名為Peter, Paul and Mommy的兒歌專集。

早幾年前，在偶然的機會下 (本想找尋小時就讀中學的網站)，竟然找到了一位在1978年負責為我曾就讀中學舉辦民歌晚會的老師－盧志強老師 (盧Sir) 在美國的網頁 http://www.lochikeung.name/me.html，在他的網頁內，發現盧老師將1978年3月24日在灣仔藝術中心舉辦的民歌晚會的場刊、錄音及照片放在網上，令我十分震驚，真的，想不到30年前我曾參予的民歌晚會記錄，可以留存至今。

回想起來，記憶己模糊，家中只存有一兩張相片而已，只記起當晚米高峰是不足夠的。於是嘗試發出email與盧Sir通訊，告訴他i’m still here and singing folk songs…..

在年初，盧Sir發出email希望在30年後舉辦一次類似的演唱會，幾經波折及得到數位校友的大力支持及協助後，終定於2008年10月18日在學校的禮堂舉行，並命名為當年情民歌晚會 - 校友會成立三十五週年纪念暨校史廊籌款晚會 http://www.klcaa-concert2008.lochikeung.name/index.htm，期間我更得到校友的協助，再次遇上當年我組成的第一隊民歌樂隊成員－Frances Chung，唔....失散了30多年啦 ^_^但可惜的是另一位partner 鄧立成先生身在澳洲，未能有暇回港作是次演出，另一遺憾的是，發起人的盧Sir亦不能回港主持大局^_^。

為了是次演出，和Frances作了數次的練習，揀選了數首及容易上口的歌曲 – 500 miles、The Cruel War、Puff the Magic Dragon及我們年輕時第一次參加公開民歌比賽的歌曲 Don’t Think Twice It’s All Right.。

到了10月18日，帶著沈重的結他回到學校，踏入校門，一種既陌生但又有很多回憶湧上心頭，畢竟在這裡這是我渡過最開心的日子….但為何樓梯的寬度變窄了？到了禮堂，為何整個禮堂面積也變小了？找到了Frances，原來她也與我感覺一樣，或者當年大家的身型比現時小吧，於是再逛到操場，想起當初給體育老師Miss 溫 “踢” 入田徑組的情景，瀝瀝在目，在操場上拍了數張照片留念，當再由操場行上四五層樓的禮堂時，要伸出舌頭來喘氣呢 ^_^

到了節目開始，大會宣佈一同唱校歌，百般滋味在心頭。晚會是自助餐形式，跟著表演開始，各位表演者均使出渾身解數，唱出多首悅耳的歌曲，雖不盡是民歌，沒有所謂啦，畢竟民歌已是過氣的了，當晚公理高中書院樂隊表演是Beyond樂隊 的歌曲，用的全是電結他，電bass及鼓等，Capo樂隊成員Frankie當晚就用他們作例子，只要Beyond的歌曲是深入人心，都可以當是民歌，這番話即時將我當頭捧喝，下次有機會再有民歌演唱會，我會建議可以邀請粵曲作其中一項，因為白雪仙、任劍輝都十分深入民心^_^ 唉.....。 ha，可惜是次予會同學，沒有屬於我的年份同學出現……老師方面，我認識的有梅Sir、Miss Cho、Miss Lai、小食部的鄺先生….

是次晚會人數雖然不太多，氣氛卻很熱鬧，尤以表演者與台下校友高歌時，更 “High”!!!!!!Puff the magic dragon, lived by the sea.......500 miles, 500 miles...... 。另大家感動的是有一位身體患病的喬Sir上台談及與病魔搏鬥，各校友均報以鼓勵的掌聲及呼聲。

近日的 “熱門” 話題當然是國內四川的地震災難，每日從四方八面的媒體都報導著：救人、失去家園及親人的專題，就這事件，對比三十多年前的中國，我都發覺極巨大的轉變，一，現在當然是國富力強 (溫總下令撥出79憶人民幣救災) 二，人心的轉變，記得初開放時，到國內探親或旅遊，人們穿的都衣服只有兩種顏色 － 灰 / 藍，面上每人都像是對四週漠不關心的樣子 (文革禍害)，一片死沈沈的，但在是次災難後，全國都響應聲援或作出實際行動來支持救災工作，一幕幕感動的畫面，令人動容，天地雖不仁，卻彰顯人類至善的一面，多次忍著眼淚，心中默默的祝福死難者、死難者家人、各參予請救工作的人員……….

可喜的是認識的一些樂友忽然 “歸宗列祖” ，再次表示是 “喜歡民歌的朋友” 或 “all the folkers” (因為發覺近這幾年來很多樂友都很怕被人喚作民歌樂隊或民歌手，怕引以為恥，但卻又經常掛著民歌的牌頭) 也響應舉辨歌唱晚會作籌款，雖然不知道會否受邀之列，亦希望他們的善心可以令演唱會成功。

嗯，忽然醒起緬甸早前的風災，據說有十多萬人受災，該國軍政府卻封閉了資訊，更不允許外國的協助………有沒有人記起他們呢？

上星期接到老友記Rod Foo的email，表示在四月十二日Hong Kong Folk Society 在梅窩有聚會，除了大家 “圍枱唱聚” 外，更會有folk dance表演及饗用土耳其食品，嗯，再看清楚 e-mail，攪手原來是一位在Morris Dance Club的成員Kyoko小姐，另一方面，Morris Dance Club部份成員也是由Hong Kong Folk Society組成的。

註 ： Hong Kong Folk Society成員主要是外國人，包括有愛爾蘭、澳洲等等在港外籍人仕組成， 定期會舉行一些民歌聚會。

昨天 (12/4/2008) 除了Rod Foo，Rod Foo的資料可參閱 : (http://blog.roodo.com/muzikland/archives/5325559.html)，更有歌痴Sampson大哥 (Sampson是本港小組合唱組合Young Strings的成員) ，大約11時許，我們三位 “港人” 先行在梅窩碼頭的China Bear酒吧集合，之後， Hong Kong Folk Society的成員亦陸續抵達，唔，因為我也曾參加了好幾次他們的唱聚，有幾位朋友印象比較深的有夫婦二人組合Pete & Iris、Raymond Crook、John Walsh、Sue Papper等等。

哈哈，不知是否外籍人仕都喜歡喝酒，在集合期間，各人都會先叫一杯或一枝啤酒，開懷暢唱，之後，Morris Dance的成員更衣之後，Hong Kong Folk Society幾位成員亦準備好樂器，一切就緒，他們開始表演了。至於甚麼是Morris Dance呢，原來是英國的一種 folk dance。在網上找到下列資料 ：

莫利斯舞Morris Dance — 莫利斯舞也是由男子來跳，生動活潑，本來也是一種祈求降福的儀式舞蹈，包含許多宗教的成份。每年的農業節，按照傳統跳法，以慶祝春天的來臨驅走嚴冬送走鬼神，舞步大多都是走步或跑跳步，要求自然，不加休飾，具有歷史意義。它可以說是劍舞的一個分支，因為兩者之間有許多相似之處，一組舞者循著固定的舞步，拿著棍棒節奏地敲擊著，揮動著大手帕，變化各種圖案，在小腿上繫著鈴子和鮮艷的絲帶。

但今次表演有男亦有女，除了Hong Kong Folk Society成員外，更有日本人、香港人，音樂一起，各人就在China Bear酒吧出面的大空地跳起來，之後，更邀請在坐的食客一齊學習跳舞，氣氛很是熱鬧。

秋意漸濃，每每會使人有所感觸。年青時，太多活動參予，彈結他、唱歌、練田徑等（哈，不要已為我身裁矮小，我曾是學田徑隊代表之一呢），期間有很多東西未有留意或本應去留意的，都沒有時間理會，任性，是每位年青人必經過程，加上自己不是一個很會表達及善於詞令的人，以致對人造成傷害或不開心。老了，忽然回首，除了一點淡淡的神傷，總覺得人生就是這樣，老土的說：珍惜，但有誰會做到呢？
