月前在Bethany Yarrow的網站內發現除了她父親Peter Yarrow將Puff The Magic Dragon出版了畫冊, 更有一張由Barnes and Noble獨家發行的CD，叫Puff & Other Family Classics ，可算是畫冊的延續吧，我在10月初在該網站訂購，11月中才寄到我家。
其實Bethany Yarrow與Rufus Cappadocia一向都是合作夥伴，亦出版了數張CD，主要風格帶點Jazz及Folk。2004年，Peter / Bethany父女檔，連同Rufus Cappadocia及Paul Prestopino再次受康樂及文化事務署主辦的邀請，在本港舉行了兩場的演唱會，其中Rufus和Bethany合作的If I had My Way，獨特彈奏cello的手法就令我印象難忘。

Bethany在少年時已和Peter參加反種族隔離抗議遊行、社會活動，也許在父親的薰陶下，亦秉承了父親的理想，對世界不平面作出控訴。圖為1986年她與Peter, Paul and Mary在美國南菲使館門前抗議種族隔離政策，最後一起被捕。她亦是以最優異成績在耶魯大學畢業的學生，並取得獎學金後，製作了一齣名為 “及維圖大媽”的紀錄片，探討基層人士在種族隔離政策下的生活。

When we look back at history, we might find a few miracles. The transformation of South Africa in a peaceful way to what it is right now is definiely one and it is amazing and no one ever predicted it to happen so soon.
Many people contribute to this 'miracle' and PPM (Peter Paul and Mary) is just like the name implies (part per million). Yet, the courage demonstrated by individuals is the grass root for a peaceful change. It is positive humanity in action.
Another thing we have to learn is that there is no fire back at the whites by the blacks now in political majority and it is a good positive lesson. Vengenance will not solve problems. It only loads up with unforgetable hatred.
PPM is going to perform on June 8, 2008 in Kimmel Center in Philadephia city. Highest ticket tag is US$75.00. And this time I am going to order it right now and hope they will not have any incident to cancel the show!
