說得棒極了!


今天早餐時看到星島日報有一篇訪問稿
訪問的是當代畫家岳敏君
關於他的作品前一陣子被某個香港藝人'借'來做廣告
記者問到這問題時 岳敏君回答說:
"我覺得沒什麼, 但如果他有說明來源,
這樣對文化會較尊重, 他不說,
只能說明這人很緊張很擔心自己的創作
沒有足夠的自信"


看完我真的服了岳先生
很棒的說話 很棒的態度!

I absolutely disagrees with what 岳敏君 saids.

From the "poster" he is referring to (I think it should be Jan Lamb's poster), that is an inspiration from his famous art, but not a stolen idea.

Take for an example, how many advertising, communications mirrored the images of Mona Lisa?? You can find Mona lisa in cartoon form, George Lam form...whatever, you name it. Copy cats truly copy an idea. An inspiration is how are you going to leverage it from that piece of art and convey it into another message.

In fact, if he wanna say somebody copy his work, can we say, he copy the work of Edouard Manet ?? Of cos not. It is another demostration of how a piece of art/creative inspires the others. This momentum just goes on and on. I think he is a bit sensitive on this issue.

我想可能是因為兩者出現的前後次序和相似程度容易被人拿來做比較?
其實兩者我都沒有看得很仔細 只是隱約覺得很像
我是覺得岳先生這話講得不同一般人
至少我想不出來 哈哈~
