	這張「早安．幸福」是她加盟Blue Note的首張發行，也是她第一次踏進國際大廠的作品。全片由她的薩克斯風手老公湯姆．林森擔任製作和編曲，全片以吉他、鍵盤、貝斯、鼓和薩克斯風這樣的小型五人組合搭配，清清淡淡的傳統爵士伴奏，襯托肯特的輕柔嗓音，正好捕捉到她聲音那種擅於掌握浪漫情歌的那一面。在這些樂手的搭配下，整張專輯呈現出更像她現場演唱會的爵士風格，也與她過去專輯採用較多弦樂、走情歌取向的作風截然不同，其中尤其是John Parricelli連換六把吉他那細膩的聲音，主導了整張專輯的音樂織體。這張專輯更特別的是，特別邀請到她的頭號歌迷，小說家石黑一雄為她填寫四首歌詞，在收到這四份歌詞後，史黛西更鼓勵老公吉姆，首次提筆創作歌曲。而這種請現代名家為她量身訂作新歌的走向，也正是史黛西．肯特向過去揮別的大動作：不像以往專輯全部都是翻唱爵士老歌，這張新專輯中的12首歌曲，有九首都是為她新寫的。&nbsp;&nbsp;片中另一件值得一提的是，史黛西肯特唱了兩首法文歌曲，這也不是她以前專輯中會出現的曲子，片中她選了兩首都是由著名的法國多才多藝的歌手Serge Gainsbourg所創作的。另外則唱了一首Baden Powell和Vinicius de Moraes為1966年電影「男歡女愛」（A Man and a Woman）所寫的芭莎諾瓦名曲。同樣的芭莎諾瓦歌曲還有Sergio Mendes在1968年創作的「So Many Stars」。另一首意外則是搖滾樂團Fleetwood Mac在1970年代的歌曲「Landslide」。而當然，全片中，台灣觀眾們最想聽的，當然是一再被用在電影和廣告中的經典名曲「What a Wonderful World」。&nbsp;

The previously unreleased selections, one through five, are explosive, but mis-miked live tracks. Williams&rsquo; &quot;Drum Improvisation&quot; segues into McLaughlin&rsquo;s fuzz-toned &quot;Dark Prince,&quot; which does not swing in a silent way.&nbsp;Pastorious&rsquo; theme song &quot;Continuum&quot; is scaled down to its essential twilight textures, while the drummer&rsquo;s &quot;Para Oriente&quot; - which later became a stable in V.S.O.P&rsquo;s book, and was recast as &quot;Angel Street&quot; &ndash; is rendered here in a funky, pre-grunge mode. The guitarist&rsquo;s &quot;Are You the One, Are You the One?&quot; previews the jam band craze. 	<title>顛覆出軌的古典再現－URI CAINE</title>

	得知Uri Caine將在三月份帶同團員一同來澳演出，喜愛新派爵士的樂迷又有耳福了！這位當今爵士樂界的鋼琴鬼才兼作曲家，最讓人津津樂道的莫過於他一系列解構再註釋西方古典名家作品，從馬勒、華格納、舒曼、巴哈到貝多芬，他最新的挑戰對象是莫札特，也是這次音樂會的主題內容。1956年生於美國費城的Uri，猶太裔的他父親是Temple University法學教授，母親是詩人，這樣子的家庭背景讓他有機會從小接受良好的音樂教育，高中期間，他跟隨法籍流亡鋼琴家Bernard Peiffer學習鋼琴，每星期Uri都會準備一份新的創作，在課堂上跟老師一起嘗試以不同方式重新解構其中的旋律、和絃與結構；但另一方面，因一次聆聽Miles Davis與John Coltrane音樂的經驗，令他開始愛上爵士樂，並從此一發不同收拾，他開始泡爵士樂俱樂部，費城豐富的爵士樂環境，甚至讓年紀輕輕的他即有機會跟Philly Joe Jones、Hank Mobley、Johnny Coles、與Grover Washington等一起演奏了。後來Uri進入了賓夕凡尼亞州州立大學跟隨作曲家George Rochberg學習作曲，但反而讓他更堅信校園外的爵士樂俱樂部才是心目中的學習殿堂，這段時間他有幸跟Freddie Hubbard、Clark Terry、Benny Golson、Donald Byrd、Phil Woods、Max Roach、Rashid Ali等一眾高手同台切磋，進一步奠定他日後成為職業演奏家的厚實基礎。1992年他發表了首張個人專輯《Sphere Music》（JMT發行），不過解構對象不是西方古典作曲家，而是爵士鋼琴怪傑Thelonious Monk的音樂。而真正徹底奠定Uri在爵士樂壇重要地位的，莫過於1996年改編馬勒的作品《Primal Light》，他花了一年的時間深入研究馬勒的曲子與生平，然後來一次徹底的“解構”，有的是取原作的旋律主題、有得參照其結構、有的僅取馬勒的作曲概念，然後，他大量運用各類型音樂形式諸如爵士、拉丁、騷靈、猶太音樂、放克、森巴、自由爵士和當代古典等等去“重構”馬勒的音樂肌理，效果讓人拍案叫絕（當然也有不少人拍桌叫罵）。這部作品讓所有不論是古典、爵士、或流行音樂等樂評者跌破眼鏡，最後榮獲馬勒基金會於97年頒予年度最佳馬勒專輯的殊榮！

	除了Keith Jarrett，來自法國的Michel Petrucciani是我最敬重的爵士鋼琴手，每次看到這位只有三呎高的 “小巨人”在鋼琴前出神入化地演奏，除了震撼，更多的是被他琴聲中強大的情感所感染，他曾經說過：「音樂對我來說就像神一樣不可欺騙，你一定要保持清澈的靈魂，弄清楚你在做的是不是你真的想做的．．．」或者，對自小患有成骨不全症（俗稱玻璃骨）的他而言，身體的折磨讓他更珍視生命的可貴，並且把握每次演奏機會盡情發揮，雖然Petrucciani最後在99年因肺部感染不幸在紐約去世，享年僅36歲，但透過錄影錄音，他許多精彩作品至今依然長留樂迷心中。他的天才也讓許多美國頂尖爵士樂手另眼相看，在法國甚至被視為國家英雄。一九六二年生於法國Montpelier的Petrucciani出自音樂世家，父親兄弟皆是樂手，四歲時第一次聽到艾靈頓公爵大樂團（Duke Ellington Big Band）後，便詢問父親可否學琴。往後的日子裡，他受到Bill Evans、Keith Jarrett、Paul Bley的影響而漸漸發展出自己獨特的鋼琴語法，十五歲時，便與著名鼓手肯尼．克拉克（Kenny Clarke）及小號手克拉克‧泰瑞（Clark Terry）一起演奏，並於十七歲的年紀錄了第一張專輯，而兩年後與薩克斯風手李．康尼茲（Lee Konitz）二重奏的演出使他獲得成功的名聲，一九八二年他決定轉往爵士樂發源地－美國發展。這使他有機會與當時處於退隱狀態的薩克斯風手Charles Lloyd結緣。Lloyd甚至決定出山帶領Petrucciani成立新的四重奏，五年的合作不但舉行世界巡迴、錄製了三張專輯，最重要的是透過這次機會，他成功征服了美國聽眾，還成為史上第一位被美國著名爵士樂廠牌Blue Note簽下來的法國樂手，並留下六張專輯。不過Petrucciani絕不墨守成規，“創造”是他生命的一切，繼美國的成功，他不斷到世界各地演出，不斷改變合作對象與環境，他幾乎每天需要演出以宣洩自己音樂上的新想法。Petrucciani被視為同時代少數最傑出的音樂人不是沒有原因的，正如樂評Francis Marmande對他的評價：「he is not like we are, but like we should be」

	<title>爵士樂小巨人－Michel Petrucciani (下)</title>

	　在Michel Petrucciani的生命中，影響他最大的是父親Tony Petrucciani，即使有身體上的缺陷，父親還是一直向他灌輸：「要做就做到最好，不然就離開好了」，父親的嚴厲讓Michel銘記於心，更激發他立志把所有的精力投注在音樂上，決心當一名真正的爵士樂演奏家，當Michel音樂事業如日方中之際，他沒有忘記父親，並在1992年以“Like Father, Like Son”名義巡迴演出，對Michel而言，他只想滿懷喜悅地讓父親知道，是時候給兒子領著父親的手，把父親的才華介紹給大家。二人的現場音樂對話也被紀錄在2001年由法國爵士樂廠牌Dreyfus出版專輯《Conversation》，收錄他們在1992年11月在法國里昂的演奏會實況，並由哥哥Philippe擔任音樂製作人，父子兩以電吉他與鋼琴Duet的方式詮釋“Summertime”、“My Funny Valentine”、“Nuages”、“Nardis”等10首爵士經典名曲。也是目前已發行唯一的一張Petrucciani父子對彈專輯，確實彌足珍貴！Michel後期所有作品都交由法國廠牌Dreyfus發行，除了剛剛提到的《Conversation》，個人最推祟的還是他極富個人風格的獨奏。《Solo Live》紀錄他在1997年2月27日在德國法蘭克福Alte Oper音樂廳的現場實況， 11首爵士曲目中有9首是自己的曲子，迷人的樂聲緊扣住每一個樂迷情緒起伏，每一首樂曲間巧妙結合，時而行雲流水、時而快速猛烈，曲目風格轉換之間自然超越毫不費力！《Au Theatre Des Champs-Elysees》這套雙CD則是Michel旅居美國多年後，於1995年回到故鄉法國，在巴黎Champs-Elysees劇院舉行的獨奏音樂會實況錄音，名揚四海後的Michel在老家觀眾面前似乎特別賣力，單音樂會開首一段40多分鐘無間斷、集結13首他最愛曲目的即興爵士組曲就已經盪氣迴腸、震撼全場。這場演奏會後來被許多樂評視為Michel的生涯代表作，現場觀眾反應更是空前熱烈，不但如痴如醉沉浸在他美好的音樂世界中，掌聲更是如雷貫耳連綿不絕。幸好有這套錄音專輯，讓這場經典演奏會得以流傳於世，也讓世界上絕大部分沒法在現場聆聽的樂迷如我，有機會一同見證這位了不起的鋼琴家，最天才橫溢的一夜！
