關於佐藤玲：

Rei Sato surprises viewers with her unique sense of color and young, playful energy.Only recently graduating from university, youth and optimism permeate Sato’s work.  Drawing from Japanese manga, but also from Impressionism and abstract painting, her daring and bold use of color is highly individual and expressive.  Playful, intuitive, earnest, and aesthetically unique; Rei Sato continues to surprise with her bold compositions and a fresh, young energy.


Sato’s talent was discovered by Takashi Murakami in the very first GEISAI event in 2002.  Since then she has participated in numerous group exhibitions, including Coloriage at Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain in Paris.  We all look forward to seeing what she will do next!
