CycloDS Evolution v1.4 BETA 1 更新發布

1.4 BETA 1版改進的部分:
  • 修正了NDS Pokemon與Wii連動(日、歐版皆可連動)
  • 增加了自製軟體的軟復位功能 
  • 減少檔案(filesystem)太零碎的問題
  • 修正2203原始人遊戲的相容性

即時存檔關機後復活教學

由於RTS不支援中文！！包含路徑，檔名！！

所以只要有中文，RTS在關機或跳出遊戲後就不能讀取了！！

若把檔名路徑都改成英文，就可以重開機再讀取及時存檔了！

WORKING Evo - (Newer)3in1 Combination Setup

Alright... this may or may not be useful... but after I got my setup running... to play GBA games.. I figured it might be helpful to some to throw up a "guide" showing how to get a CycloDS Evolution and a ezflash V "3 in 1" working together ... contained within one post

**All links / information has been taken from various posts on this board... I'm just throwing them all together in primitive steps for simplicity's sake **

Also.. this is just how I went about things... I'm no pro.. but while this may not be the fastest / most efficient way of getting your GBA "backups" running on your shiny new handheld... it definatly works..

1) Get your CycloDS firmware up and running (1.3 - latest version at the time of this post) & Moonshell - Both the instructions and files can be found on the main cyclopsds site (go figure)

2)Throw SoftReset.CEVO in the root directory of your memory card


3) Download GBA_ExpLoader_04 and throw it where you'd like on your memory card

4) Now... Goto your SD drive and create two folders in the root directory entitled GBA and GBA_SAVE

5) Grab all the roms ( .gba files) and throw them in the GBA directory

6) Drop your saves ( .sav files) and throw them in your new GBA_SAVE folder
**If you are a neat freak like me you can change the properties on these two folders and make them hidden - that way you wont see them in your list of games**

7) Now pop your card into your Evolution cart and insert the cart into the DS ... boot up CycloDS... click on Games/Homebrew.... and run the GBA_ExpLoader app

8) You should now see a list of all your "backup" GBA games... Toggle (Using the L & R buttons) to NOR mode... Select the game you would like to play... press A to copy the game... then press X to run it...

AND THERE YOU HAVE IT!!! GBA games running on your DS - With your new ezflash 3 in 1

**NOTE** Do not delete the GBA_SIGN folder, that is created by ExpLoader and is presumably required in order for your ROMs to work

在將下載解壓後的GBA_ExpLoader_04(現在已有v0.51版可下 但聽說v0.4較穩定)放入卡內任何位置


在卡內分別做GBA 和 GBA_SAVE兩個目錄


遊戲的rom是放在gba內

save檔則放到gba_save
(如果你不想卡內的目錄太多 可將這目綠隱藏起來)


之後執行GBA_ExpLoader按L or R鍵選擇nor, psar 和震動強度及memory expansion功能


最後還提到不要把"GBA_SIGN"刪掉 因為會導致rom工作不正常

DS:CycloDS Evolution 2008年3月評測

一、前言

     Cyclops團隊經過數月的努力，CycloDS EVO已悄悄更新到1.3版，延續了

先前原有的功能外，也實踐了即時存檔功能的承諾。
     

      在近一兩個月，除了物價飆漲外，連燒錄卡的價錢也同樣水漲船高，像R4、

DSTT等燒錄卡從過去不到1000元的價格，現已漲到1500元上下，但卻不見其功

能有長足的提昇，再加上又有新燒錄卡N5、F1DS的加入，經測試後效果不如預期，雖

然在價錢上相對便宜，使得市場上逐漸出現了"劣幣驅逐良幣"的現象，唯獨

CycloDS不僅在價錢上合理，且功能一直有明顯提昇，有許多消費者想了解更多

資訊，有鑑於此我們做了以下的評測。

DS:CycloDS Evolution Firmware v1.3更新

CycloDS Evolution Firmware v1.3 FINAL has been released. Changes in this release include:
  • RealTime Save feature added, allowing you to save and resume game play at any time!
  • Fixed numerous compatibility issues
  • Improved overall reliability
  • NDS file extensions are no longer displayed in the GUI
  • Added the ability to exit the in-game menu by pressing the B button
  • Revised controls for the settings menu: A/RIGHT cycle item forwards, Y/LEFT cycle item backwards
  • SlowMotion is now shown as a percentage rather than an arbitrary number
  • Fixed homebrew that use DLDI on ARM7 (DSVideo)

Following on from v1.3 BETA 2, this release should fix issues with MicroSD corruption as well as some other minor issues. Changes include:
Miscellaneous game compatibility fixes
Improved reliability
The RTS file format has changed, which unfortunately means old saves are not compatible with this release. However, this will be the last time the RTS file format changes unless major changes are made to the firmware
Once again, we would like to remind web-masters to please refrain from posting news about this build on your websites. Hopefully this firmware will now be stable enough to be re-released as v1.3 final in a few days - so please let us know if you have any issues
