印象中曾看過 Dannyboy 在 MP 上提及《Paul Gonsalves Meets Earl Hines》專輯裡的〈Over the Rainbow〉是他心目中之終極版，今天聽了之後果然名不虛傳！

腦海中還記得當年 Black Lion 在西逃陳列一大排的盛況，但西逃早倒了，而 Black Lion 也越來越難買到了！

在去年底收到 Polish Jazz Net 的廣告郵件，內容以「End of the Year Deals from Polish Jazz - 50% off」為訴求，看了一下發現兩套由 Polskie Nagrania 發行的套裝CD，分別記錄了於 1956年及1957年在波蘭舉行的首兩屆 Sopot Jazz Festival 實況。

在音樂、封面設計及價格等多重誘惑下，以原價 5 折買下了這兩套，而《1st Sopot Jazz Festival - JAZZ '56》就成了今晚的音樂盛宴！
