美麗的草莓天使帶來替我慶祝的蒙布朗生日蛋糕


細心的藤永不但幫我們切蛋糕~ 還先把裝飾的水果先分開擺 ,分好蛋糕在擺回蛋糕上!!! 感動ㄋㄟ~

這一年來作為忠實讀者,完全能夠體會“Peray流“的逐漸成熟,也就是說,“一看就知道是Peray作品“這樣的強烈風格,可喜可賀!用力鼓掌啦!

有一個疑問,我感覺比目魚側邊肉要熟食,尤其是微微的焦香,才容易吃出特殊的質感。生魚片也能吃出這樣的特質嗎?

真的不只是美味而已
一切是以提高食材的原味而作
跟在台灣一般什麼都有什麼都做的日本料理不同
這是在台灣第一次得到的感動

Hahaha...just made a rant about ikura on Scuba's blog.

VERY jealous that good ikura is available in Taiwan.

I recently had a $90 CAD dinner in Toronto at a GREAT restaurant where the ikura was still fishy/unfresh etc (HUGE FAILURE). In Canada, it almost feels like good ikura is 有錢也買不到的.

Well, unfortunately, most of the ikura is 外銷轉內銷, so they make a big circle around the world (to places like Taiwan/Japan etc), before being reimported. The long trip means the selection isn't so fresh. In fact, I would say it's worse than ikura you find at places like 爭鮮 in Taiwan.

Yup. The only time that I can get fresh ikura is when I go to a fish monger. Of course, this also means that they have not been 處理/清洗 etc, which is a bit of a hassle.

By the way, what are ikura prices like in Taiwan? If you buy a box, how much would it cost?

A box of fresh ikura in 微風 supermarket cost around $150/100g..but they can not match with fresh ikura served in 野壽司.

Whoa... that good huh? I will add it to my list of "must visit" places for my next trip to Taiwan.

Of course, now I just need to find a way to get my boss to put me on some Asian clients...hahahaha

But yes, many people don't like ikura in Canada b/c it's never fresh here, so they don't really understand why it's good.

Bascialy,it's salmon roe season,plus fujinaga san did a great job at 去鹽.Therefore it's bouncy, fresh and not too salty.
