Thanks for your invite, Vincent! How long are you guys staying in NYC?
Posted by Grace at May 16,2006 08:27
說到 burger, 好懷念 In 'N Out Burgers!!
不知道這個跟 In 'N Out 比起來哪個好吃 :P

I can answer you Lemonade. Both them are ok! Nothing compares to Schwartz! Montreal rocks!

Grace,
I live in NYC. I am Peray's reader as well as you. Come and enjoy the nice food. He is leaving on this coming Sat.

Hahaha.. No doubt Schwartz's is the best!!!
But I do think In 'N Out Burger has the best
burger i've ever had... (not the smoked meat type ;))

When I came back from San Francisco last time, I had 6 In'N Out burgers with me! Since they don't serve any food on the flight, we had the best burgers!!

Vincent, where are you guys going later?

Hey Peray,

I cannot believe you found the Burger Joint! I go there for the cheeseburghers and brownies at least 2x a week when I am in NYC. I usually stay at the Parker during my stays in NYC. The breakfast at Norma's is also quite good, although I think it's being renovated.

Hi Vincent,

My office and hotel are both in mid-town (56th b/t 6th and 7th). Where is yours? Perhaps we can get together and have a nice meal in late May or early June?

Tks!

Peray,

The Burger Joint is not a 落魄漢堡店. It is actually a well thought-out project that has a faux (fake) hole-in-the-wall feel to it, and is extremely popular with NYC locals and tourists alike. If it was just a 落魄漢堡店, they would not be able to afford the hefty rent at such a location.

at lunch and dinner hours, the long line are usually well extended into the hotel lobby, which is quite a sight.

The hotel itself, although labeled as a 4-star operation by some magazines, is actually very decent in terms of service and amenities. It has arguably the best location of all hotels in mid-town, with the exception of the Plaza of course. However the Plaza is now being renovated, and most of it will be converted to condos of $6m or more. Oh well, I am glad that I got to stay at the Plaza when it was still the age-old hotel with time-tested splendor.
