How much do you know about Smokey?
    Look at these pictures. This bear is not created by an animation company. The Smokey Bear is an American bear, which lives in the US. His favorite clothes are Smokey Bear hat, blue jeans and belt. Smokey Bear is frequently seen standing upright, with feet planted on the ground and a shovel in hand. 

    The cartoon Smokey Bear is based on an actual baby black bear that was found alone, hurt and scared after a wildfire in the Capitan Mountains of New Mexico. During one of the lulls in fire fighting, a lonely bear cub had been seen wandering near the fire line. But the crew left him alone because they thought the mother bear might come for him. Afterward, they found the little cub had been caught and had taken refuge in a charred smoking snag. His climb had saved his life but his paws and hind legs were badly burned. In the end, the cub needsed a veterinarian and was flown away in a small plane to treat.

    The news about the little bear spread around swiftly. The officials decided that the little bear shoulded  be dedicated to publicize the fire prevention and conservation. The little bear became the living symbol of Smokey Bear and found his new home at the National Zoo in Washington, DC.
    His favorite saying is "Only you can prevent forest fires."

         花了點時間交代英文介紹,想當然爾,也要用中文講講這隻冒煙小熊了!不過前面都把小熊的身世介紹完了,再用中文寫出來倒是有點詞窮.知道這隻小熊,首先我要先感謝莫大叔給你們家兔小妹講的床前故事,啟發了我的好奇心,要不是你,我這隻井底之蛙可能還活在化石層裡面,不過光是看到官網裡面很多可愛的小熊圖片,已經覺得很開心了!

        冒煙小熊是我套用莫大叔的用法,有人稱呼他為防火熊.護林熊,甚至也有人直接斜音翻譯史木基熊.思莫基熊之類,下面我找了六張圖依照年代順序排放.另外小熊在101個最具影響力虛擬形象排行裡面排行21,打敗了芭比娃娃之類的卡通人物唷!那個排行榜很有趣,沒想到第一名竟然是The Marlboro Man!(The Marlboro Man是被塑造出來的西部牛仔,詳情)
