OJ．候診室

當我準備著這禮拜六要在教會主理青年崇拜的資料，在網路上搜尋DC talk的一首叫做Jesus Freak的歌時，突然想起一個很久以前聽過的福音樂團"Mercy Me"（也許是那一陣子常常一起聽這些歌）。於是也在You tube上面搜尋這個樂團的MV。

今天打開信箱，收到了一封Bichhin轉寄來的影片（Bichhin不大做這種事的）。影片"Team Hoyt"是說一對父子的故事。兒子Rick出生時因為意外而癱瘓，父親Dick與母親Judy原本要將以為是植物人的兒子送到療養院，卻因注意到Rick仍具有智力與反應而決定讓他接受教育，而Rick也能透過特製的電腦與外界溝通。

在Rick十五歲時，Rick的一位中學同學因意外而癱瘓，學校為那位學生舉辦跑步籌款，Rick透過電腦打出︰「爸，我也想參加。」

Dick在那一次推著Rick跑完五英哩後，Rick說：「我今生第一次不覺得殘障了！」這句話震撼父親Dick。於是他們之後一起參加了無數次的長跑，在過去二十五年間，他們一共跑了3770英哩。

當我看著影片中的畫面，突然發現配樂如此熟悉，猛然想起，這不是昨天在網路上聽到的歌，"I can only imagine"嗎？

於是，在Mercy Me的歌聲裡，我一面看著Hoyt父子奔跑著，那位偉大父親的形象，讓我想到我無助時所倚賴的聖者。我不知該不該只說這是個巧合。短短隔了一天聽到的同一首歌、Bichhin的轉寄，以及看到Rick癱瘓的形象讓我想到著這幾個月來狀似空轉的人生，如果都只是個巧合，那麼也是個令人震撼的隱喻吧。

每次上教會時宣讀使徒信經，我們會說：「我信聖神……」我發現這幾乎快變成機械化的告白。如今看完短片流下眼淚，我深知這其中，有著對沉默卻真實存在的上帝，一種揉雜著懊悔、驚訝的感激之情。
