父:這當然不容易,你知道我的紀錄不怎麼樣,不過我跟妳繼母在一起10年了,我要說我們很幸福.聽著,我覺得最好的事情是找個能愛妳原本樣子的人,心情好壞、美醜,隨便...合適的人連你放屁都覺得香!這種人就值得在一起!
(父告訴女兒,那個人就是他~)

NON,妳知道嗎?!
當我看到那對要領養未成年少女的小孩的夫妻,當丈夫因"心理尚未準備好"這個理由要退出;也逃離婚姻時,我內心百感交集...(老實說,我瞧不起男人!!)
之後,在嬰兒房,那位獨自而來的養母,抱著小BABY的一幕,感動著我...女人是溫柔而堅強的!只因為母性的光輝~
也許男人永遠不懂的是,身為一個女人,那種想要守護她的家;她的孩子;甚至是她的丈夫的心情...

"against all odds" 似譯作"幾乎不可能"較佳。

這首pop folk在曲和歌方面不知你們聽得習慣否？

唱者Carlile是在美國被看好的新星，屬獨立創作型，不受唱片公司包裝和設計，她唱的歌多由她或她的伴奏高低音結他手Hanseroth兄弟所寫。
她追求現場真實演唱的感覺放於她的專輯內。
現代製作專輯大多單獨先做好音樂部份再做歌者收音，然後mix和調整，有時還會分樂器和分段收音。
"The Story"是歌者樂者同步並互動和整條歌一起呵成收音，乃鮮有的studio製作例子，效果是感情特別真，沒有修飾，力量澎湃。落實的音帶不忌諱其中有撕裂了的唱音，難能可貴。
其實這首歌我早就挑好了在這情人節介紹，不過卻早了幾天說出來，因為更覺歌詞別具意義。

這位較現代的歌手(才27歲)，可能Jenny 和Weber更欣賞，她有一首
"Turpentine"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DMk8CznRSwE&feature=channel
是她少年時寫的歌，寫她和弟弟。
