用心尋覓


一位歌者的獨白、對祂的獨白、對另一個我的獨白。

沒有答應，只有尋覓，用心的尋覓，尋覓祂、尋覓深層的我、尋覓新的詮釋。

我不擅理解，我擅於執著。我不多看光明面，我常在黑暗面嗟嘆。我自小受訓於尋覓壓倒性勝利，我沒空尋覓祂，也沒空尋覓真我。

人嚐說，人生是旅程，既是旅程，就必有行囊，人在世途上必有所背負。早點明白祂給人的行囊的重量和負擔，人生之途會好走些。早點感受施與受，你就是最佳的見證，對那大愛的見證。

以下是我對Brandi Carlile的一首”Looking Out”歌詞的中譯。或許許多人會把它看成一首情歌來詮釋，我並不作如是觀，我强烈的感覺到詞中的宗教色彩，於此引出給大家欣賞並不是要討論神論，乃緣自訝於年輕的Carlile能寫出那麼深邃的詞意。

不同意唱片公司翻譯專輯名稱Give Up the Ghost為聽天由命，我認為完全不是那個意思。
give up the ghost 此詞解作死亡(人、動物)或工作年限已至(機器)，但專輯中的歌卻不是寫死亡，我覺得Carlile在借用此詞作瀕臨失去靈魂的意思，而不作真正肉身死亡解，聽天由命從何而來真搞不懂，可能把它譯成"失魄"較為接近。況且，在專輯中的歌詞含頗多積極和正面的意識，把它說成聽天由命簡直是誤導。
