Neona's Home

When Mom is busy, even has to work on the weekends, Dad would take Neona hiking. This time they went to National Mt. Jade Park. They attracted the attention of the hikers, especially the elderly.




在媽媽趕著年底報告和計劃案時，爸爸帶著NaNa郊遊爬山。這一天他們來到了玉山國家公園，爸爸背著NaNa，引來很多爬山阿公阿媽的好評。

十一月，在花蓮牛山海邊...

NaNa喜歡看著大海，但對大海似乎有一種敬畏。
在她十個月大時，我們帶她到Orcas Island。在海邊將她放下來，她總是緊緊地抓著我們，或是身體僵硬成某種姿勢。




她喜歡玩水，但是靠近深水讓NaNa產生直覺的恐懼。她只願意在我們的懷裡，看著遠方藍藍的海。

We visited my parents in Taichung last weekend. We went back to Wu-Fong Village where I lived in from 1 to 10 years old.

Taking Neona and Meng-Yu back there and seeing it for the first time after 24 years meant a lot to me. Things around the house are very different from years ago, but I am glad this old house is still there.

This town was also severely damaged by the earthquake 6 years ago. Some of the buildings in our old community collapsed.




The old school I went to was rebuilt too. I told Neona that this was the school Mommy went to. We took a picture together.
