In this series of works, I do not focus on the critical notion, or a gesture of resistance to the popular media. But from everyday life, amplification of certain moments, those reflect the appearance of our lives which are coexisting with media, and the indescribable static situations accompanied by. In which we have consciousness of self-perception, but the feeling is locked to the external world.
We rely on the transmission of message to determine our position, the speed of its transmission to measure our level. However, due to the openness of exchanging message, the event behind the information has converted to superficial reading. We have a sense of familiarity with the event is not because of our experience in before, but it has expanded by the message, even it’s only a line of flashing text.
Live-time is not this moment, the eternal prophecy of the screen has become a fleeting spot. To gaze at the moment we exist is the concept of my works.
