Muzikland

1985年有 Live Aid﹐然而20年後Bob Geldof 再次發動另一次的世界性演唱會 Live 8﹐那是一場運動﹐藉著美國﹑加拿大﹑英國﹑法國﹑德國﹑意大利﹑俄羅斯及日本8國元首在愛爾蘭召開高峰會議期間﹐喚起音樂界召集世界性的意願﹐請求這8個國家元首為非洲加重支援﹑減低債務與及要求公平貿易。所以於2005年7月2日在世界各地舉行了9個音樂會﹐超過1000位藝人演出﹐加上30億人收看﹐完全免費入場﹐為求的是發起世界性意願。

不過演出的單位也多了很多近年的名字如Coldplay﹑Stereophonics﹑Black Eyed Peas ﹑ Destiny's Child ﹑Will Smith ﹑Joss Stone ﹑Alicia Keys及Rob Thomas等﹐不過名字雖熱門﹐但是部份卻沒有特色可言。嚴格來說﹐還有頗多現今樂壇重要名字仍未出現於音樂會中。

演唱會跟20年前不同是不再只是Rock N Roll ﹐而是加入了Country 及Reggae ﹑Rap ﹑R&B等黑人音樂元素。很驚喜的是REM的 Everybody Hurts很感人﹑Sarah McLachlan & Josh Groban合唱的 Angel很和諧﹑Robbie Williams帶動全場合唱的Angels ﹑Pink Floyd一如唱片水準的現唱演出。Paul McCartney慣常演唱的Get Back ﹑Hey Jude ﹑The Long & Winding Road已沒帶來多少驚喜﹐只是這次演唱 Helter Skelter不再是U2或 Oasis ﹐而是這位原唱的4份之1 Beatles ﹐就盡顯出他的Rock Star魅力。
